The first time I tried on gowns, I was with my friend and BM Ashley and our friend Megan, and they were like "OMG you're going to be a beautiful bride." Wedding dresses make you feel beautiful even if you're not comfortable with your body (I'm not right now--I've seriously gained like 30 pounds which is a lot on a small frame). Ashley's baby nieces were with us, too, and the older one, Natalynn (20 months old, I LOVE HER SHE'S MY FAVORITE LITTLE KID) told me I was pretty in the one dress.
I'm actually impressed you read all that, though! I hope I'll be a sane bride. I want my BMs to look and feel their best and I tried really hard to pick dresses that are forgiving to full-figured-ness. I can't wait to see what they look like. Ashley has a tattoo all across the top of her back and she's talking about covering it with makeup, but I told her I would never ask her to do that. I also hate how some brides are all "MY WEDDING MINE MINE" because it's OUR wedding, mine AND James's. Whenever he refers to it as "your wedding" [mine] I'm always like "OURS." I was watching Bridezillas recently and a bride was screaming at her groom saying like "It's not your wedding, it's mine, my wedding is tomorrow" or something and my mouth just dropped. I want someone to slit my throat if I ever get to that point.
