boy, is school hip this semester...
i've got this subversive-type american gov't professor who tells you the truth behind the lies... he's not actually subversive, i just use that to give a better description of his idealogy... it's like having noam chomsky for a teacher...
i like getting higher grades than the majority of the class does... that goes for all my classes right now, i suppose...
paul met laura in our creative writing class, and now we all hang out after class... laura is hip... she's been to europe, celebrated canada day, and left a nasty note for a guy in a hotel room... not all at once, mind you...
so, i suppose it was the enigmatic adam drucker, aka dose one, who inspired my series of "typewriter poems", which are still in the works... although i can't remember when exactly it was i started those, as it could have been before i discovered him... anyway, i have now discovered the only other relevant, modern poet i know of: steven farmer... by "modern" i mean someone who is not writing couplets, not writing free verse... not in the sense everyone by now knows them as... or not in that sense at all... someone who uses the page... but, still, and not to sound egotistical, this is just an observation, i have yet to find anyone who is doing what i'm doing... which no one but myself has seen yet... but i find it hard to believe that no one else has thought of this, has taken concepts from other sources, the structure and improvisation of jazz or the controlled "chaos" of jackson pollock's paintings, and used it in terms of writing... and it's useless to write this, because i'm the only one who knows what i'm talking about, so...
working on a full length version screenplay of "the poet killer"...
got a job as substitute with the cypress school district... substitute noon duty aide or janitor or whatever they call me in for... pays about $14 an hour, i guess... i haven't started yet... i still have to get a t.b. test and a physical...
