Whooo. So I went to see "The Grudge" with
Christy,
Morgan, and
Lauren. It was...unimpressive? But we laughed at everything. Everything I tell you!!! For example, some dead girl was supposed to be crawling down the stairs towards Sarah Michelle Gellar (quality acting!), and I died because it was obviously a fucking puppet. Then these investigators found these two bodies in the attic and then one of them points at the floor and he was like "But who does that belong to...?!", and someone's jaw was randomly lying on the floor. And I was like "Oh, that's mine, lost it last week. Sorry". We were pretty much the only ones in the theatre who didn't scream, except for when we did our "delayed reaction" screams, which was hilarious. That movie seriously sucked. The plot was utterly nonexistent, and the entire thing was a deliberate "Ring" knockoff. Christ, I do think that Sam Raimi has lost any shred of self-respect he ever possessed. Whatever happened to the good 'ol days of "The Evil Dead" and Lovecraftian goodness and tree rapings? Ah, well. We had a kick-ass time anyways. And some idiots from our school (oh, that narrows it down...) were filming for the morning announcements, and unfortunately captured us on camera. So now I'm sure that we'll have to deal with that on Monday.
Gorgeous:
The Scottish selkie was a being who appeared to be
a seal, but had the ability to shed their skin
and roam the land in human form. If a human
were to happen upon the discarded seal skin, he
or she could hide it and force the selkie to
marry him or her. However, if the selkie were
to ever find the skin, he or she would
immediately reassume seal form and return to
the sea from whence they came, leaving their
spouse and offspring on land to forever mourn
their loss.
As a selkie, you are a very withdrawn, secretive
and somewhat sad person, and those around you
find you alluring and mystifying. People who
come into your life find it difficult to find
the inner you. You are also curious, but you
enjoy the comforts of home most of all.
Who is your inner Shapeshifter? brought to you by
Quizilla Pinhead from the Hell Raiser series.
Which 80's Horror Movie Monster Are You? brought to you by
Quizilla Yes. I love "Hellraiser". I shall never forget when I made Krystle watch it. FUNNY STUFF.
Wow. Was that a pointless cut.
Obviously, I've been screwing around with my layout, etc. quite a bit. It completely screwed me over yesterday, so here we are.
Oh, hey. Has anyone else been privileged enough to have seen an episode of "The Mecklenburgers"? Yes, the very show inspired by our humble town and its...erm...humble inhabitants? Well. My faith in this city is steadily waning, and that show really doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence.
Now I suppose that I will go and frolick in the fields of...uh...STUFF. That's right. You're in denial!! I hate you!!!
I ♥ my Chester.
I really do.
