I'm a Tabernacle

This past weekend was really good. Lots of driving and lots of fun.

Friday night Bekah and I went down to sonar in Baltimore to see Tim Kaye. When we got there we found out that Tim was going on last which would have been about midnight. We sat though the first two bands and then decided to leave because we were bored.

Saturday however was awesome. We started the day by going out to the Mason Dixon Fair. They had lost of animals, games, and rides. I ended "winning" this awesome atomic homer

After the fair we went to Towson to Trader Joe's & we also ended up eating at the Melting Pot. Then it was off to the Ram's Head Live to see against all authority (updated more then the website), streetlight manifesto, reel big fish, and
less than jake. We got there about 20 minuets late and Streetlight was already playing. They were awesome as they always are and the crowd was really into them. Reel Big Fish went on after that and put on a hilarious show. They still sound awesome after all these years, and proved that they are MASTERS! of all musical stylings. Then it was time for Less Than Jake. Bekah and I decided to go sit in the hall for a little bit of their set because we had no idea how it would be. Surprisingly it wasn't all that bad. They played a good bit of old stuff and tried to be fun. Their whole set was based around The Price is Right. Seeing that we were only about 20 minuets late we thought that Against All Authority where going on last. We watched as a lot of people started to leave after Less Than Jake, so we got some good standing room upstairs. Then even more people started leaving and we saw them start to gather up trash. I asked someone if the show was over and they said yes. So we missed AAA somehow in those few minuets we where late. Oh well, the rest of the show was ska-riffic.

Yesterday Bekah and I decided to go out to the wax museum by Dutch Wonderland. Sadly it doesn't exist anymore, so instead we made a little road trip around Lancaster out of the day. We went to a couple farmers markets and to the
Tabernacle where I had mind mind melted with information. Then we ate at the Shady Maple. We ended up eating 13 plates of goodness and then came back to York where we just chilled for the evening.

So yeah one hell of a great long weekend. I got to see stuff I never thought I would, learn about things i never thought I would learn about and was able to hear some awesome music live all while spending time with an awesome person.
