alphabet soup
So*, AFFC (the next book in ASOIAF) is coming out next Tuesday. I finished my reread of ACOK on Monday, which means I have a week to read ASOS. Yikes! I almost feel like I'm doing NaNoReadMo, because I'm pacing myself and trying to read 150 pages a day in order to finish it in time. I'm a bit shy of the daily goals so far, at around page 220 (I had hoped to make it to 250 this evening).
And about that thing that this month is usually known for....

Mostly a retype of stuff, but hey, words on screen! Do I think I have any better chance of winning this year? No. But as Chris Baty likes to say, hope springs eternal. And anyway, words on screen = good.
Paycheck hasn't hit yet. Woe. Better go throw a bunch of change in my purse, in case it doesn't hit tomorrow.
