ART OF LIFE -- please read (=
ive been pretty stressed out lately, but its ok. im coping.
right now, its mainly about university & scholarships, but other than that there is Art of Life, which is happening in a bit more than a month. its basically an arts exhibition/charity auction that jessica & i are currently organizing (= we have 3 main goals:
1. to showcase the talents of young artists in mississauga :) we currently have 40+ paintings & 40+ mini sculptures.
2. to raise money for the Hospital for Sick Children
3. this one's not as important as the other two, but we plan on giving students an opportunity to do some community service either before or during the event.
THE LIVING ARTS CENTRE
NOVEMBER 25, 2005 (same day as semi, poooey ><)
7:00-9:30PM
BANK OF MONTREAL RM.
its basically gonna be like a show, but people can bid on the artwork if they wish to... wish to keep it :) all of the money collected from the auction will be forwarded to Sick Kids.
we're gonna be selling raffle tickets really soon (tons of cool prizes, $10/ticket, all proceeds to Sick Kids) so please SUPPORT! if any of you guys want to help us sell tickets, itd be REALLY REALLY great! again, ALL the money will be donated to the Hospital for Sick Children. we're hoping to raise $10,000~!
