Thank god
It's Friday and I'm going to Greeley after work to see my Shannon and Kimmie. Shan and I are going out to dinner and then we're going over to check out Ace's girl's band. That should be a lot of fun, i'm so excited!!!
Anyhoo, I haven't updated in forever cos I've been outta town and now my computer at home is jacked so I'm doing it now, illegally at work! HA!
Thanksgiving was great! One uncle and two aunts didn't go because they are still pissed about family bullshit so that was sad but we still had a lot of fun. Brian, Starr and I shared a hotel room, which was the grossest room i've ever stayed in, i didn't want to take my shoes off! EW!!!! But it's the only hotel in that town so whatta ya expect?!! HA HA! My cousin Salina picked Starr and I up to take us to Thanksgiving so that was great. I love her sooooo much and I just don't get to see her enough anymore. And I got to see her sister Stacey and her boys, it was great. Gramma is looking very tired but she's doing well too. I went to Des Moines w/ Stacey Thanksgiving night so we had a good long chat. I love her, she makes me so proud. We stopped by her new job so she could show me around. She got her degree finally so she is a psychologist for the county home, works with metally handicapped people and people with different metal diseases. She's awesome!!
Friday Starr, Brian and i got up and came back to Colorado, we got home around 7:00pm went straight to bed and got up the next morning to get to the airport. Our flight left at 7:00am and landed in Seattle at 9:30. We got our rental car and the guy at the desk, Jerome, tricked us into buying the insurance which we're pretty sure is a scam...oh well! We got to our hotel and it was stunning!!! We got it really cheap since Starr was interviewing there. So that day we stayed in and enjoyed the room for quite a while! Then we got out and explored. Sunday we went to the market and it was soooooo great!!! I loved it there! The people are so nice and it's so clean! We went to the Space Needle and then had dinner and went home so Starr could get to bed early for her big day. She of course woke up late so was in a panic but i got her to the hospital in time. I went back to the hotel and got ready, well, watched ER first then got ready. :) I went to this mall first then got bored and went back to the market. I love that city, it's easy to get around and the people are lovely and the weather was great. Not hot, not cold. So of course i would miss Starr and Brian but if they go there, i won't be too upset! HA HA!
Last night I met Marc for dinner so we could talk as a part of his program. He is a completely different person! OMG, i didn't even know him! He's lost a lot of weight and has learned so much about himself...it was a trip. We talked about finding inner peace and god and stuff like that, it was really incredible. We're going to get together soon so I can see where he lives and works and stuff like that. He's been sober 9 months now so he's made a lot of hard steps. He apologized for the way he treated me and I was able to apologize for the way I treated him so we both feel much better. I don't know, the whole thing left me feeling kinda sad, like it made me see how much i need to change and grow, but that's a good thing right? :)
Anyway, i better go this is way long and i'm supposed to be working! HA HA! This weekend is going to be so great, can't wait to see Shannon!!!!!!
