story of Bosco; pics from birth to now
My baby boy Bosco!! there is a sad sad story to lead up to these pictures :[
I had a cat named Lily. Ive poster her on here before. She had barely turned a year old when my stepdad accidently let her outside. I thought she was gone cuz I couldnt find her for two weeks. Needless to say, I found her. We soon realized she was pregnant. Poor thing was huge and she was a tiny cat. So anyway, on August 28th she gave birth to two kitties! I woke up and found her sitting in her litter box with a baby kitty COVERED in litter. So I quickly put her nexting box (which she obviously didnt want lol) where the litter box was and moved them both. I cleaned the kitty off so she wasnt covered in litter. All this happened around 12pm. Around 2pm she gave birth to another kitty, Bosco! She had a very hard time giving birth to him and was in a LOT of pain. He was a biiiggg kitty. Since she had just given birth to him me and my mom figured it would be awhile before she had the last one. So, we went to lunch and came back. I went up to check on Lily and noticed she had a dark red sack lookin think halfway hanging out. My mom said not to worry it was probably the placenta and she was just resting before she pushed it out the rest of the way. Well.. an hour went by and she would push, lick, push, lick and it wasnt going anywhere. I noticed too she was fading out and just wasnt herself. I called the vet and they said either the placenta is stuck or she prolapsed her uterus (pushed it out). So we rushed her to the ER and sure enough, she strained so hard to get Bosco out she prolapsed her uterus. The surgery to get out the last kitty (whom was dead) and to fix Lily was going to be over 4k.. and I couldnt afford that. More importantly, they couldnt garauntee her life. I decided the best thing for her was to put her down. It was honestly like having a child and them dying in your arms. Terrible. So.. I went to hand raising the two kitties.. Bosco and Spunky! Spunky, the female, died a week after. My mother dropped her on her head on accident and she died. Very sad. So it was just Bosco.

and when he did, he was stubborn and wouldnt suckle...
but once he tasted it he suckled fine
