Useless Couture Promotion
Useless Couture is a clothing line started by Joey DeGraw, Gavin DeGraw (of One Tree Hill theme song fame) and their good friend Jon Mayor that is dedicated to bringing about a new twist on casual wear, but also helping out a good cause.
A portion of all proceeds go to the ASPCA, an organization dedicated to helping homeless animals. So if you have some cash to spend, consider giving Useless Couture a try.
Useless Couture started on the back of a tour bus through the Midwest, with two musicians and a photographer stealing each others clothes and looking at trends in the crowd. We all used to wear each others shirts and dig the same shit and we started talking about what we liked and didn’t like and we saw what was going on with the clothing industry. We looked at what people were wearing to the shows and in all the cities, colorful and true fitting stuff, funny stuff, some outspoken and socially conscious stuff, and we thought we’d play along.
The goal was simple - to help good causes and make perfect t shirts for men and women, made soft and fun and in vivid brilliant colors, with a perfect fit and built to wear a week or two in a row. Subtly edgy and provocative, but endlessly wearable and with an aesthetic that always just works. We wanted to have some fun and make good shit and not take it all too seriously.
The complete line is being built now and we’re working on more than just T shirts, starting with denim and skirts and dresses for fall and accessories and some other things for both men and women, but we’re pleased to launch and bring you some T shirts and get it all rolling.
