Its so sad that I've just kinda let this community slide, and that it seems to have withered and died. It's nice to see that people are still joining though!!
If anyone actually still comes back to look here, does anyone have any ideas on how to liven this place up a bit?!
I have recently discovered a few new obsessions. The main one being Idlewild, a scottish band, who were voted third greatest scottish band of all time! :D I just love their music, especially their old stuff, and have seen them live 3 times this year already! However, each time seeing them has been an acoustic show! I even met them the last time as it was gig/signing! I was starstruck and was so introverted which I'm regretting now! My friend asked the lead singer for a hug!!! I'm so jealous!! One of the other members said to me something about hugging over the table, and I didn't realise till after that he was asking ME for a hug!!! I thought he'd been talking about what my friend had just done, but I asked her after and she said she walked round the table to hug him... and it was then I realised what he had actually said!! Grr.. i'm so pissed off at myself for ruining my opportunity!! Anyhoo, they have a new album out, but I would recommend the older stuff, seeing as they now seem to becoming more folk, than rock... :(
I've also discovered My Chemical Romance from their constant over-playing on kerrang and launchcast radio stations. They're fantastic!!
I Also LOVED the Incredibles and seen it twice in the cinema! It was so good, and if you haven't already seen it, buy or rent the DVD NOW!!!
Still loving Johnny Depp, although he is beginning to look a bit past it... :( Can;t wait for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!! :D
