Good evening, my friends. (^_^)
Haven't posted anything in a while.
I wanna write down a bit about my "way to A9" (is that correct English? XD Not too sure, but you will see what I mean).
So how did I got to know about Alice Nine first of all? ...
Well I think, I watched an episode of Alice Nine Channel on YouTube.
I'm not sure if it was the very first, but one of the first episodes was that Sugoroku-game with all of the Alice Nine members.
Tora and Saga came a bit later in the show and Saga was slightly (lol) drunk.
Oh gosh, that moment, I totally came to hate Saga. xD I thought, his behavious was horrible. His first impression on me, you could say, was very bad.
But apart from that ... Well, I really enjoyed watching Alice Nine Channel, so I continued watching older episodes.
I immediately liked Hiroto. Shou was a bit weird to me (a bit geeky) and Tora was "okay". Nao was waaay too crazy, so I didn't really got to like him. And Saga, as I said, was my hated-one. (^__^').
About the music: I didn't like it in the beginning, because of Shou's voice. It honestly bothered me, so I "couldn't" listen to Alice Nine songs at all.
Maybe only one or two older ones, in which Shou's voice appears to be a bit more ...rough?
But it was kinda different from the voices I used to hear (can't really explain).
As time went by, I more and more started to like the music, but it was nothing more but "okay" for a while. I got used to the vocals.
I think the so to say turning point was when I heared "NUMBER SIX".
It might sound cheesy, but it really touched me. If you know the lyrics, you will know why, ne.
That was also a point when I started to look up the lyrics of A9 songs and tried to understand it (my Japanese knowledge back then was more or less 0, so I pretty much looked up translations). And wow, Shou's lyrics kinda comforted me. _<" (^_^) Something like that, ne, Tora-chan? And he's funny.
Hiroto is smexy, an awesome guitarist (Tora too ofc!) and a big flirt lol.
Saga-sama is a great composer and bassist, he grew up so much in the past years, but still is kinda .. a noob. I like him. (^_^)
Nao is... Nao. Haha, what more can I say. ;) Even though he might be the most educated one in Alice Nine, he surely is the weirdest and craziest. He has his "moments" from time to time, but I think, you could really rely on him if needed.
Furthermore, it really touches me how they try to keep personal with their fans, live, but also with A9 Channel (+Chou A9 Channel), live specials on holidays etcetc. Even for me, who will most likely never get the chance to see them live, can feel connected to them.
Feel as their Number Six. (:
Thanks for everything, Alice Nine, and please never stop being who you are.
