Richard twisted his mouth. Terrorism was a harder world to dabble in than he thought. He was not a freedom fighter. He enjoyed the systematic use of terror as a means of coercion. He created fear. Iscariot intended to cause death and serious harm to civilians and non-combatants with the purpose of compelling the Victorian Company to refrain from

*Anyway, if Richard is truly following the blond-haired Mitsuki Father James to the church, then please have a silver-haired vision-impaired girl on the road, sashaying in the opposite direction before well, damn, she trips over your foot and goes 'oomph' onto the ground. Cobblestone ground. Brimstone. Whatever ground.
HEY THANKS A BUNCH BUSTER.*

*Open post is open. Whatever ground it is, it's hard.*
*Richard's reflexes are quick; in a second he's withdrawn his gun and pointed it at the girl's head.*

*Although Ataraxy's hearing has been considerably sharpened due to her worsening eyesight, even her keen ears missed Richard whipping out his firearm. So in her daze, she tries to get up, only to feel a metal barrel pushing at her skull. She's going to be kinda freaked out now. A gasp escapes her lips and she immediately cowers.*

I don't feel like playing games, brat. Watch your step.

Father Chaser grabbed Richard's shoulder, how could the man try to shoot a girl like this? what kind of man was he?*
Richard, please let the girl go, she hasn't done anything wrong, killing her would be against God!
Could this man really shoot an innocent child? He hoped not because the last thing he wanted to see was a death he did not prevent. He was charged by God to look after his Flock, and this girl was a part of it. As was Richard.*

Nonetheless, Ataraxy's not reckless when it comes to playing Russian roulette with her own life. Nor does she care about fairness or justice at a time like this. Had their been no gun barrel to her head, she might have actually piped up about her vision deficits, but in this situation? Stay low and comply to all orders. And while, she is grateful that a third party intervened, words are powerless against a firearm if the intent of the man wielding the weapon is strong enough. So really. She's just going to cower.*
... y-yes sir.

*He cast right at James.*
Don't worry. A little pain will loosen her tongue.

*He wished he could do more, but he couldn't get in the way of the gun unless he was sure Richard wasn't going to shoot him, which wasn't an impossible idea. The more time he saw Richard the more unstable he seemed. Perhaps only God could save him.*

*He holstered his gun.*
Looks like the little brat is sorry for getting into adult business. *He scowled at her whimpers.* If you want sympathy, at the very least cry in a cute little voice.

Are you alright Sweetheart? I really do apologise, my friend here isn't a very stable man, he wouldn't have killed you I promise. He just doesn't know when a game should end.
He was aware some of that was lies, but he wanted to comfort the girl, and protect Richard, the man wasn't evil, just ill, he needed God's help and as a priest it was his duty to preform God's work.

... how do we have somebody like him roaming free among the streets?

*He looked at the girl's eyes, did she have a sight problem? She seemed a little unfocused.
You should get home, I imagine you are a little shocked, I really am sorry. I try to keep him from harming anyone. Please forgive me.
His tone was gentle and made him seem so trustworthy and safe. He put his hand on her shoulder, hoping to comfort her.
I'm Father James Chaser, I'm the priest at the Church here, you should visit. Come to the sermons, or my Sunday School, I can always use more mature young people to help me with the little ones.
*He smiled at her, hoping she was reassured. He looked over at Richard, he had to protect him too, people could be cruel when it came to men such as him. He had to keep everyone safe, it was his duty, the reason he was a holy man.*

*After mumbling these words underneath her breath, she looked over at the man named Richard and squinted, trying to get a vague image of this nutjob. She managed to make out his hair color - it was white - no, it had a bluish tint to it. And the glint from the general area of his eyes must mean he wore glasses or a monocle.
She shook her head to clear her thoughts. Ouch. How did a simple walk to the general store turn out into a gigantic commotion? She looks up at the Father, brandishing a smile to show her content state.*
Thank you... Had you not interfered I would have probably lost my life. I'd gladly come to the Church to listen to your sermons. It's the least I could do.

*He laughed, and it sounded bitter.*
