Richard had nothing better to do than sleep. It wasn't the first time in his life he'd been behind bars, and he daydreamed; there was a fight in Birmingham, and he'd whipped out his gun and shot a man who'd insulted his Ma. But this was Richard. He was not a healthy, normal person: he treated everyone as it occured to him to do so.
