I need your advice!

There are two things about which I'd love to hear your opinions, my dear f-list.

First up, should I lock up my translations? Because, as of late, I have, by chance, come across quite a few incidents when excerpts from or the whole of my translations are posted around, or used in fanvids and such, without credit. Seriously, how hard would it be

1. RE: For re-translation.
NO. Stop for re-translation. Only if the person ask/pm you, then you may give your consent...lol. It may give you lot trouble. Well, this is my opinion he3x.
I think it's better for you not to allow it. There's a lot of people, with different personality n preferences. Some understand your point, the whole purpose behind those as-some-might-assume-ridiculous-rules-to-follow [the same reason in which rules applied by subber teams], so they follow your rules. But, apparently there are some who do not, while they would say they abide it. And there's always possibility third person who take it n re-re-re-translation in which maybe make it hard to trace the original.
You are doing nice n kind to spread the love for our idol to everyone who want to know them. Sometimes, good deed is never nicely welcomed nor kindly appreciated.

Well, I think it's better to locked the post. As for another account. Hmm....I don't really think you need to create another account, but it's up to you, coz, you also post some of your everyday ramble ^ ^ Which I nejoyed reading it huehehe.

Thank you for your opinion *hug* You know, actually, if at all possible, I wouldn't want to impose any so-called "rule" over my LJ. I mean, this whole translating thing is supposed to be fun, both for the readers and for me, and such rigid thing as "rule" might as well spoil the fun a little IMO. But, yeah, when my little request for acknowledgment is so frequently ignored, maybe it's time to switch from "request" to "rule" *sigh*

btw, glad to know that you find my silly everyday ramble acceptable ^^
