~ Working another Sunday. I know I say this every time, but, dude, so boring.
~ Thankful that jury duty is over. It was more of an ordeal than I'd planned on it being when I walked into that lovely courthouse last Monday morning. Actually, I'd hoped I wouldn't get picked at all thus avoiding it all together, but I was picked and there were two charges and the jury's decision had to be unanimous on both charges. Yeah, good luck convincing any 12 people in the world to agree on 2 different things unanimously. It ain't easy and it took us two days. I really hope I don't have to go through that again any time soon.
~ Considering changing my mood theme to a Glee related one. That's obsessive, isn't it? And a little early to make such a commitment. Ok, wont be doing that yet.
~ Trying to figure out what to make for Brian's birthday dinner next weekend. His present is taken care of since we just upgraded our cell phones and it wasn't cheap. I told him I'd still make him a nice dinner, though, and a cake. If I can get my hands one one of these babies I'm totally going to try to make him a giant cupcake, but I'm not sure if they're sold in stores yet.
~ Feels like it's spring time because I've gone to so many wedding showers the last couple months. And I have two weddings to attend soon. Is fall/winter the new spring/summer for weddings?
~ Saw Paranormal Activity yesterday. I wasn't overly impressed. Of course, at this point it's pretty much impossible for the movie to live up to its hype. Still, I expected big scares and instead I was mildly creeped out at times and really just started feeling bad for the characters rather than scared for them. Plus they weren't the most likable characters either. I kinda wanted to slap the main male character - overly cocky to the nth degree he was.
[I'm only using my horny mood right now because I was scrolling through the options and saw the picture for it and it made me laugh. Since I will probably never use this mood (because, seriously, do you need to know when I'm in that mood?) I'm using it now. Thank you and good night.]
