Uh, OK.

Apparently I am not with it at all. Or maybe I'm so with it I'm not even aware of how with it I am. (I have no idea where I'm going with this.)

I just found out that the book I just read, I Love You, Beth Cooper, has been made into a movie. And Hayden Panettiere is playing Beth which is...odd.

Frankly, this looks like doodoo. Shame.

Of course, now that I've seen the book in live action, I'm questioning myself on whether or not the book was actually good. Because a lot of those scenes are straight from the book, but it all felt slightly less raunchy and a little more heartfelt in print. Now I'm wondering if I was too easily amused by the 80's movies quotes and that distracted me from a bad book. Or maybe my sense of humor has plummeted to low levels of maturity.

I fear this will lead to me liking more stupid books and then my intelligence level (fragile as it is) will start to nose-dive at a drastic rate. Will I even notice? Or will I be blissfully unaware and slightly happier because my need to over think will no longer plague me?

Oooh, look! Shiny stuff...
