Today is Brian's birthday (Happy Birthday, Brian!) and he left this morning for San Antonio. I'm kinda sad we're not spending his b-day together, but I know he's excited about his super-duper special golf lessons and he'll be back Saturday for us to celebrate. Still, I'm weirded out about spending the next 3 days alone.
I don't know why. It's not like I haven't done it before. I'm just not looking forward to going home to a quiet, empty house tonight. I think I'm going to need take-out Chinese food to keep me happy. Yes, take-out and Pushing Daisies. Yep, take-out, Pushing Daisies, and putting my cozy pajamas on as soon as I walk in the door. And maybe some hot chocolate with Bailey's.
