(no subject)
My house full of guests has finally cleared out and things are back to normal. Normal meaning quieter. We had my 1 year old niece, Maranda's 3 year old son, my mom's dog and our dog all crawling and barking and yelling and drooling and moving from room to room and causing all of the grown ups to trip constantly. Bit of a mad house, but I actually enjoyed having everyone here and we had a good time. Elizabeth is the most adorable thing ever. She's learned to blow kisses and she can show you where her nose is (even if she points to her ear or her head or your nose first, she eventually gets it right) and she has the cutest smile ever and I had no idea that a 1 year old would be able to make me laugh so much. I kinda love her lots.
Somehow during the weekend I managed to unwittingly agree that we should celebrate Christmas at my house this year. This was after a long day and a few alcoholic beverages and I said, "Sure, our house! That's a great idea! This'll be fantabulous!" I've since sobered up and slept on it and now I'm thinking more along the lines of "Eek!" I know it'll be fine, but there's just going to be a lot to do and I'll be responsible for Christmas dinner. Double eek. Although, I cooked the majority of our meals while everyone was here and everyone liked what I made, so perhaps I can pull it off. Guess we'll see.

So there's the Pushing Daisies Tour making the rounds this month and it's stopping in Dallas. Except to be more precise it's stopping in Addison which is more Dallas-ish because it's 30 minutes north which puts it about an hour away from me which kind of stinks. However, there will be PD souvenirs and a chance to see a replication of The Pie Hole. I'm going. Oh yes, I am.
Also, I found out today that the DVD's are going to be released on Blu-ray. Do you have any idea how pretty that's going to be? So excited.

I love that there's an entire news story dedicated to the word "frak." The article mentions that the word's been used on The Office, though, when I can't recall. Can anyone else?
