Last night I watched
A Portrait of Scotland, narrated by Peter Capaldi and Captain Obvious (I can see that Peter is walking through glass doors, thank you).
I thought I had a strong crush on him when he was Malcolm Tucker, but that was nothing compared to how smitten I was after I saw the documentary. It's not often that I hear people talk about art so passionately without sounding pretentious or conceited; he seemed genuine. I didn't realize how talented he was at drawing, either. I'm actually a little jealous, seeing as I come from a family for whom a game of Pictionary is a long-term engagement.
