I saw Inception today. I loved it. Yeah, there are plot holes, but it was still impressive.

I still don't understand how Cobb and Mal were able to return to reality from being in limbo. And even if killing themselves did work, why were they young when they were on the train tracks? Shouldn't they be 50 years older?

I thought the ending was fantastic. I believe that Cobb was dreaming being with his children, but I don't know what level of subconscious he is on or how long he has been there.

My theater was so adorable. When the camera zoomed out to show that the top was still spinning, everyone went "Ohhh!"

ETA: Ok, now I'm reading that his wedding ring was the real totem. Maybe that scene was reality. Damn. I kind of wanted it to be a dream. I love tragedies, okay?

I was a little disappointed by the character development. The only two characters we really learned about were those portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page, the actors with the two least impressive performances. I was hoping for a little more information (or at least screen time) for JGL and Marion Cotillard.

I'm watching the season four premiere of Mad Men. I don't know... I'm just can't get emotionally invested with this show. I'm always a little appalled to hear about how much people love Don Draper. Not love like I love Dexter, but love love.

I wanted to kick him in the balls when he called Betty a whore last season.

With that said, I want to see more Roger Sterling. I especially want to see more Roger with Joan. I can't believe Roger got married again, though. I thought that was really out-of-character of him, but then again I missed a few episodes.

movie, review, mad men
