I once read an EW article that said that Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law's Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson had a rapport similar to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
So, if I ship Butch/Sundance--and I do--and I ship House/Wilson--and I do--then I must double ship Holmes/Watson--and, wouldn't you know it, I do.
Sherlock Holmes is amazing. It's like a really good House episode with gorgeous costuming and a great score.
Oddly enough, the Jude Law movies I've enjoyed most are the ones where he plays another man's love interest: Wilde, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and Sherlock Holmes. Then again, I suppose I haven't seen many.

Waiting for the movie to start, I leaned over to my mom and asked if she remembered the first movie she took me to see in the theater. She said that she took me to see The Lion King when she was pregnant with my brother. I would have been 2 at the time. Yes, my mom was one of those people.
"Did I even make it through the movie?" I asked.
"I think you bumped your head or something and started crying and I had to walk out," she reminisced with a laugh.
Oh, brilliant. On the positive side, I suppose I have seen a Jeremy Irons movie in theaters after all--and it was first. :)
Speaking of, look what I stumbled across the other day while looking for new pictures. I have the original, but it was begging to be made into a macro and I couldn't think of a better caption.
