It's a good thing Lorna's walls are soundproof, because with the way Toxin has Metallica pounding through the speakers, she wouldn't be able to get any sleep. The toxic woman is sitting on one of the chairs, a bottle of Russian vodka held loosely in one hand. Though the bottle is about half empty, her eyes are alert, and she seems to be searching the room for something. If nothing else, one can tell that Toxin is in a really really bad mood.

Sabella is actually in a good mood for once, though it looks as though that might not be lasting very long. She saunters into the room with a bottle in hand, humming to herself faintly. For all of Erik's grandstanding he proved that he missed her in his bed at the very least. And she'd missed him as well. So far, her week has been fabulous. Her eyes shift to the toxic mutant, brows raising as she walks towards the stereo and turns it down, protecting her overly sensitive eardrums. "Why the puss?"

And that's the one place of Magneto's that Toxin has no desire to be. Not her type. If it's a rich older man, her limit is about 20 years. She watches her friend turn down the stereo, then shrugs and places the bottle on the floor. "You didn't get my note?" Which she did send her one. Damn that Toad. "I should have just let the bastard kill himself, but I also thought that our 'beloved' leader might get a leeetle upset with me for that." At the moment, it doesn't look like she cares. "At any rate, my dear, would you care for a drink? It's the real thing, brought it back with me from my last trip to Russia."

Sabella desires to be there quite a bit. And apperently that desire has been fufilled. For the moment. "Oh I got your note, I wasn't aware you were still upset about it. After all, if you were going to let him kill himself, and the only reason you didn't was because of Erik, then that would mean that you couldn't care less about him. Which, in turn, would mean that you'd have no reason to be upset." she pauses and smiles. "Unless of course you're upset because he's still alive in the first place. And then I understand entirely."

Toxin sighs softly, and rises to her feet, heading over to the mini fridge that's got to be there somewhere. "I'm upset that every time the idiot is in trouble, I seem to stumble across him and because of my obligations, I can't let him do whatever stupid thing it is that he does. I'm just sick of it." She needs something to eat, that's it. Opening her cell phone, she searches out the place of an all night pizza parlor. "Enough with my grumpiness. You seem to be in a good mood." Smiling at Sabella, Toxin orders a large pizza, half plain, half with all the meat they have. She offers them an extra $50 to have it here in the next ten minutes. Another quick call tells the night guard to get the pizza and bring it up to her.

Sabella slithers her way towards the bottle that Toxin had offered her before and fills a small glass, still grinning cattily as she curls into an armchair, looking quite content. "You're upset because you care about him darling. Just admit it. As foolish as it might be, you hate what he's doing to himself and you hate that you can't make him stop." she grins and tilts her head to stare at Toxin with wide, innocent eyes. "But if you'd like, I could always just make him have an alergic reaction every time he had a drink?" eyebrow waggle. "And I am in an outstanding mood! I spoke with Erik today."

Toxin narrows her eyes at Sabella. "I care about him probably as much as I care about any other man. They're good for a very few things." A smirk flashes across her face, and the woman shakes her head. "As much as I think that would be amusing, no. Erik wanted to know about Toad, and I sent him a message saying that he was locked up downstairs." she responds, arching an eyebrow. "You did? I was wondering when you where going to get around to that. Did it go well?" She seems interested.

Sabella smirks. She doesn't seem to believe Toxin's lack of caring, but the succubus isn't about to push the subject either. No need to get into an arguement at the moment. Not while she's so content at least. Green eyes watch the liquid swish around in her glass before she takes a slow sip, savoring the Russian import. "Delicious." she purrs, though she could be talking about the drink or the meeting. "It went about as well as I thought it would. Though he left me believing that he has a new 'right arm' as it were. It seems while I've been away, I've been replaced." an eyebrow arches as she glances towards Toxin.

As far as liars go, Toxin is excellent at it. One would have to be, in her profession. Her now golden-colored eyes watch Sabella's green ones as she samples the liquor. "Glad you approve. It's a vintage they don't export." Hmm, could that be an accusation? If it is, Toxin decides to play innocent. "Do tell. And who might that be? He hasn't been keeping close company with anyone since you've been gone." From her careless tone, maybe she believes that Sabella isn't talking about her.

Sabella looks calm and compossed and not in the least, surprised. "Why he was talking about you of course, my dearest." she purrs affectionatly, leaning back a bit more in her chair, brushing a strand of hair from her eyes. She doesn't seem accusitory, though there is a little heat in her eyes that she can't seem to conceal as well as she might like.

Toxin is a mirror image of Sabella, with the exception of the heat. She sees nothing that is a problem. A soft laugh, and she replies, "Silly Erik. He's just trying to make you jealous, darling, can't you see that? We settled this business about that man long ago, before you and he were together." A pause, and Toxin's eyes narrow slightly. "I honestly would have thought better of you."

Sabella shakes her head. "I think you misunderstand. I'm not talking about keeping his bed warm, I mean buisness wise. His go-to girl, the one who gets things done, his right arm." she offers a lazy shrug. "And he may have been trying to make me jelous, or to spur me into doing better, but I needed to make sure. Though I warn you, he thinks to pit us against each other for the 'position'."

Toxin chuckles softly, shaking her head. "I see. Is that what he thinks of me? My dear, I do a lot for Erik, I'm practically the only one who does. So I suppose he could refer to me that way." She doesn't seem all that concerned about it. "Frankly, Sabella, I'll continue to do my job no matter what 'position' Erik happens to think I'm in. And if he believes that he can pit us against each other for top dog, as they say, then he can whistle for his competition. I don't play that game."

Sabella waves a hand desmissively. "Then it's as I expected. And he was just attempting to get a rise out of me." her eyes glitter for a moment. "Though in the end, it was me who got the rise out of him." another brow waggle as she sips at the drink once more. She pauses, her nose twitching as the elevator door chimes. "Pizza's here."

Toxin smiles at her friend, uncurling herself from the chair and heading for the door. Once there, she speaks briefly with the guard and brings the pizza back in. "Would you care for some? I usually don't eat this, but it sounded good." Pulling a piece out of the meaty side, she munches on it contentedly. "So, you have your old position back with Erik, it would seem. Of course, it wouldn't have surprised me had he tried to convince you that -I- was sharing his bed."

Sabella shrugs and uncurls as well, reaching forward to snag a piece of te meat side as well. "Thank you." she states and leans back again, eyes settling on Toxin for a moment. "It was easy enough, just a matter of buttering him enough enough to slide my way back in." a grin. "And he isn't stupid enough to lie to me about that. I could have smelled the sex on him if you and him had started sleeping together."

Toxin laughs again, but this time the laughter is genuine. "True enough, my dear. And honestly, Erik isn't my type. You know me, I prefer the rugged ones. As long as they have money, of course." She winks at her friend, biting down on the pizza once more. "Speaking of money, I have half a mind to bring Amara up here and start getting her used to the finer things in life. Living with you is all well and good, but trips to fine resturants and mingling with the uppers at the opera is a must also, don't you think?"

Sabella beams at the other woman's laughter and takes another bite of pizza. "And if you really wanted him, you would have him by now. So I'm not all that worried about it." Another shrug as she drains her glass. "And if you'd like to take Amara around, feel free to use the company card, it'll be tax deductable."

Toxin shakes her head slowly. "Men. They think they know everything, don't they?" she purrs softly, reaching out for the bottle and pouring herself a glass. "I think I should. She needs to learn the ropes. Even if she is going to live on the island, she needs to be able to slip in an out of society. It will make her harder to spot."

Sabella nods quietly as she munches on the rest of her slice, thuroughly enjoying the meat piled on top of it. "Well, better you than me." she says, saluting Toxin with what remains of the crust. "Becuase honestly, you'll always be more of a lady than I am. I can act the part, but it's just not me."
