Don't really have time this morning to make an IC post, but here's some logs I haven't taken the time to post yet. :-)
Tavern on the Green
Glitter and crystal adorn this small sanctuary from outside New York and even Central Park itself, like some snapped photo from a child's fantasy about fairy ballrooms and shimmering halls of ice castles. Decorated prominently, though not gaudy, with all manner of chandelier and crystal, three major dining rooms - The Crystal, Chestnut, and Park - form a loose horseshoe around a flourishing garden designating the tavern's center. Despite the restaurant's allure of glimmering fancy, however, it is fairly modest an arrangement as well, with flora trimming every room, reminiscent of a castle's massive garden and cobblestoned walkways. Indeed, outside amid the greenery folks often dine on cooler summer nights amid the topiary and flowers, enjoying the calm splendor of this fantasy-like setting.

[Players : Forge, Lei, Enigma, Norenvalei, Terry, Candy, and Mickie ]
Lei chuckles. "Not a problem Norenvalei. My definition of a strange customer was a young man that came into the shop whom I doubt had a full grasp on reality and was far to egotistical and supirior in his mind to realise it."
Quark walks up towards Noren from the refreshments table, a small glass of punch in his hand. He smiles Noren and pats the baby gently, smiling sweetly and commenting, "Aww, how cute..." Yes, he -did- just say cute. Because he can, so there. He eyes Noren and Lei, asking Noren, "So, what's the baby's name? She's adorable!"
Lilly blinks at the man that just patted her and suddenly gurgles happily, reaching out to latch onto his hand with one of her chubby little ones.
Lei chuckles and gently taps Lilly's hand, prventing her from her goal. "Her name is Lilly... have to be careful though." He doesn't explai that... not haveing been intraduced to noren's friend yet.
Mickie grins, still holding on to Terry's hand, glad to see people are enjoyig themselves. She smiles at Candy, teasing a bit. "You didn't atend the fitting like I asked you to did you?"
Candy sweatdrops, "No... I didn't."
Norenvalei smiles happily, "Lei, Lilly, this is Chris, or Quark, as he sometimes likes to be called." A wink at Lei to confirm any mischevious thoughts he might be having.
Terry grins slightly as Mickie as she banters with her friend... "I don't think I've yet had the pleasure." the groom says smileing at the poor bridesmaid in her torn dress.
Quark glances sidelong at Noren and spots the wink, rolling his eyes with a small grin. He hugs Noren and extends a polite hand of friendship to Lei, apologizing, "Sorry I didn't introduce myself, sir. It's a pleasure to meet you. And Lilly," he smiles towards the girl in Noren's arms. He is confused as to the whole moving away of the kid's hand, but he doesn't ask about it.
Candy sweatdrops, adjusting the torn shoulders a bit, "I'm Candy."
Norenvalei nods to Quark, "Lilly is like me, Chris. 'Talent'ed."
Terry smiles slightly. "well it's nice to finally meet you, Mickie talks about you allot." he squeeses his brides hand again softly...
Mickie chuckles softly, watching Candy and Terry talk. She's very happy... and wants Candy to be as well.... "Candy? Have you had any luck with Keneth yet?"
Candy scratches the back of her head, "That's... complicated."
Lei shakes Quark's hand with a friendly smile. "Pleasure to meet you Sir Quark." Norenvalei's remark about Lilly signals that Quark is all right in that regard too. "Sorry if I get leary about Lilly nabbing things. She's getting better, but has a tendancy to leave a little frost bite."
Mickie nods understandingly and won't press the issue. Thats Left Wig business she and Candy will have to discuss later. Right now, it's time to enjoy one's self.
Candy does add another unexpected comment though, "Let's just say, that he's not missing because of blood rage anymore..."
Terry smiles as the music comes on. "Shall we?" he asks grinning slightly like an idiot "May I have this dance Mrs. Masters?" he asks almost blushing as he says it.
Quark grins, replying to Lei, "Please, Chris is fine, or Quark if you prefer. I'm no knight," he chuckles. He blinks in confusion for a moment about the frost bite comment, until what Noren and Lei both say clicks...ahh. So she can control the temperature, too? Nifty. He leans over to Noren and whispers in her ear, "At least you didn't call it a 'curse' that time," he comments. Apparently he's still worried that they didn't finish that conversation from before...
Norenvalei smiles and leans back against Chris, then whispers to him, "I've been talking to some of the other people at the school. Well, more or less. I still think its a curse, but there's no reason it can't be a blessing at the same time."
Mickie loks curiously at Candy, but again, will ask later. She smiles, blushing a little herself as she lets Terry lead her on to the dance floor.
Lei chuckles faintly to himself. With his hearing, weather he likes it or not, he can pick up all the conversations in the room, even the whispered ones. And he's glad Norenvalei is adjusting and simingly happy. "All right. Chris it is... but please pardon me if I slip and forget once in a while." He then grins. "Here Noren, I'll take Lilly for a while. As the only other 'couple here' you two have the dance after the bride and groom."
Terry leads her to the middle of the floor, taking her softly into his arms as the soft music plays arround them.. "I love you.." he whispers softly... his heat is raceing louldly... and part of him still can't believe this isn't a dream...
Norenvalei almost pouts, but gives up Lilly back to Lei. "Ok."
Quark blinks and blushes slightly. He quietly mutters, "Oh boy..." and then says nothing else. He's not exactly a great dancer, but it's worth a try...
Mickie tilts her head up to gently kiss Terry breifly, relaxing in his arms and hopeing to god she doesn't step on his feet with these high heels... She's way to excited and nervous as it is... dream or not, she's going to enjoy every last minute of it.
Norenvalei wonders about dancing...In heels? Oh boy. It's hard enough to walk around in them, but dance too?
Master Tong shakes his head and walks over to Lei, gently but firmly takeing Lilly from him. "Oh no you don't Lei-son. The 'father' of the bride always gets the second dance with her. Mrs. Crabb and I can take turn's watching this little one. And I'm not picking o you alone. I'm going to get that tom boy sister of yours on the dance floor as well." He winks, an old man teaseing and makeing sure all the younger ones enjoy themselves.
Terry holds Mickie tightly, willing the song to just keep playing...though as it nearly ends he lowers his lips to kiss her softly.
Mickie returns the kiss equaly soft and ifinutly gentle, not wanting this teder moment to end.
Quark was thinking the same thing as Noren, spotting the high heels. Still, if she can walk on them, she should have the talent to dance too, right? He hugs her again and says, "I suppose we can manage it, right, Noren?" he laughs. "Don't worry, I'm not that awesome either." Still, he's happy when someone else comes up and insists that Lei dances first. Haha! Lei's plan backfired. He must suffer first...
Lei blinks at Tong then laughs. "All right... And lots of luck getting Candy to dance."
Terry does pull away though as the music dies, making room for the father of the bride to claim his own dance. Though it is hard for him to let go of her han at first,,,a soft slow parting to let Lei in... then he smiles and turns to his housekeeper instead.
Candy peers at Tong
Norenvalei hmmms, "Umm....Maybe if I take off these heels first. My feet are aching horribly." Norenvalei fidgets a bit, before finally reaching up a hand onto Chris's shoulder to steady herself while she lifts up first one foot and then the other and removes her heels. When she's done, she's shrunk by 2 inches.
Lei grins, sending a bit of resurance to his brother through thier link. o O ( No worries Terry. I'll have her back in your arms shortly.) He then shoots a grin at his half sister still sitting at the table. "Come on Mickie, lets show Candy how to dance." Yes, thats a challenge.
Candy crosses her arms, and sticks her tongue out, "Hey! My preferred partner isn't here!"
The next song is much more lively and Mickie laughs as she reconises it as a favorite oldie of hers when she was a child. She should't have let Lei hadle the music.
Quark smiles with Noren, chuckling slightly as the bouncy song begins. "Ready...here we go." And so he begins to dance, forgetting about the other people around the two of them and just letting go of his nervous feelings. That's what real dancing is about anyway. As he tries to guide his and Noren's feet to the music, he hopes she might still think he's a good dancer. He actually isn't doing bad, either, sans the one time he accidentally steps on her toe near the beginning...oops.
Terry grins slightly, blushing and asking to dance with the fifty year old Mrs. Crabb who grins and tries to keep up with her employer.
Norenvalei stumbles when her toe is almost stepped on, and would've yelped, but it's ok. He only got the hem of her dress. She follows his lead, and simply loses herself in the music. Smiling, she enjoys the moment and hopes it doesn't pass too quickly.
Central Park South
Deviating from the slightly more.../lonely/ feel of the northern sections of the park, the area here seems no less appealing to the eye, regardless. In the distance through the thick treelines of maple and oak, the skyline of New York can be seen looming. Smaller bodies of water than the Reservoir dot the green here, as do the bronze statues placed seemingly at random. The Shakespeare Garden, Tavern on the Green, Strawberry Fields, and the like of more popular 'hotspots' of the park flank to all sides.

[Players : Chindi ]
Chindi leans against the shaded form of a tree, sipping lightly from a can of (what else?) -beer. Her blue eyes observe the world with the alertness of a wild creature, and a coyote's amusement.
Quark appears in a *poof* of smoke from behind a different tree, across a small wooded path going through the middle of the park. He doesn't spot Chindi, but that's because he's currently stuck in a book about nuclear physics, a reading assignment his teacher assigned to all her students. So instead of resting on this calm, late Sunday morning, he's...studying. As if he didn't get enough of that during the school week. Still, he seems to be *gasp* enjoying it. He walks over to a bench nearby, taking a mid-sized backpack off his shoulder and setting it beside him. He's quite proud of that, really--being able to teleport multiple times to get here with something that large along with him. He's been making good progress with the development of his powers, even though he still can't take a gigantic load. Anyways, he sits on the bench with a relieved sigh, just...relaxing. He always did like the cold, anyway, and the fresh air feels good to him.
Chindi gives a bark of recognition upon catching Quark's scent, turning her blue gaze in his direction, ears alert and perking. Though it's cold- and she feels it- the chindi stoicly wears only the lightest of jackets. She likes winter.
Quark still doesn't look around much, although he does take the time to readjust the warm hat on his head and the somewhat thin gloves on his fingers. Darn...it's so hard to turn the pages with these gloves on! As he plays with his gloves, he glances up for a moment and blinks in surprise as he spots and recognizes Chindi, an old friend. If she thinks of him like a friend, that is. He waves slowly, unsure how to react, but continues to read. If he recalls correctly, they ended their last conversation in an argument about her people, her race; if she doesn't want to come over and say hi, well, there's no reason to force it.
Chindi's ears flick briefly, and her breath steams from her mouth. She returns the wave genially. Must be in a good mood.
Quark mentally shrugs to himself, thinking "Oh, what the heck." He shuts the book and stands up, walking over towards Chindi with a small smile and another wave. "Hello Chindi. It's been quite a while, hasn't it? How have you been?"
Chindi nods. Her ears flick back ever so briefly as Quark speaks. "It has been a while; I've been well. How've you been?" She gives Quark a once-over, unconsciously checking out his health and mood (from what she can tell)
Quark shrugs, replying while maintaining a small smile, "Not too bad, myself. I've just been busy with school and the like. My mother has been getting worse lately, but I'm trying to work out a solution for that. Not sure if I told you, but she has leukemia." His smile fades slightly, but he continues in an even tone, "Dr. Jean Grey from the school and I have been looking for mutants with powers that can heal others, to try and come up with a way to heal her before she gets too far beyond help. We haven't had much luck, but...there's still some time." A sigh, but he shrugs and adds quietly, "Not a whole lot we can do but just keep looking."
Chindi sighs, and her ears flatten. "Loo-key-me-ah.... the cancer, yes? --mmm. That is beyond my ken."
Quark smiles weakly, shrugging again and replying, "Yes, it's a cancer. Don't worry about it, I'm still looking into it. I know two very powerful mutants that have primary healing abilities, but we still need to find some other people to help with keeping her alive. Dr. Grey thinks a bone marrow transplant could do the trick, if mutants help at the same time. Still, that's a ways ahead of now...no point in stressing out too much." He spots the beer mug and smiles, but doesn't comment. She sure is quite odd, sometimes.
Chindi blinks, and her ears flick briefly, the bells and rings jangling, and she takes a sip of her beer. She likes beer. She likes alcohal. Been alcohalic since age 8, if not before. "I could make a charm to help her, perhaps--" she offers.
Quark blinks, tilting his head in confusion. "A charm? What do you mean?"
Chindi smiles lightly. "Sometimes the body is ill because the spirit is sick. Sometimes... charms can help the spirit, keep it close to the body. It's old medicine. I learned it from my grandfather."
Quark smiles happily, replying, "You know, that sounds really helpful. It may not be a cure, but I'm sure she'd appreciate it. Thank you for the offer, I think it's a great idea!" He pauses for a moment though, and asks after a thought, "What exactly do you have to do in order to make a charm? It won't be painful in any way, will it?" He hopes not...
Chindi looks to Quark and her brows raise, before she laughs mirthfully, ears slicked back. "Hurt? eee. It's just a charm."
Quark frowns, blinking and responding, "I don't think I understand, that's all. Is it some kind of potion, like a drinkable 'charm'? Or do you just...speak some incantation while trying to make her relax?"
Chindi snorts. "You don't 'drink' a charm. You carry it with you..." she pauses, frowning with thought. "Like a necklace"
Quark blinks, and then ohhs in recognition. "Aha...I see. Like some kind of amulet or something, for good luck and peace for her spirit." His face brightens up, and he adds, "That'd be great, thank you!"
Chindi nods. "I can do it in my ... spare... time." She then grins. "I have not worked good medicine in a while."
Quark grins and says, "Oh, that shouldn't be a huge problem. Anything is useful, and even if it's not perfect, it's the thought that counts. I appreciate the offer to help her, I really do."
Chindi nods again. "It'll help make up for some of the things I've done. Everything must be kept in it's balance."
Quark sighs, replying sincerely, "You haven't done anything to harm me or my family, I assure you. You owe me no debt, but still, I am grateful for your offer of support. I'm just glad to know that you're not angry at me for the argument we had the last time we met." He waves, adding with a small smile, "Anyway, I forgot I have some things to do, and some more reading to finish," he points to the book still in his hands. "I better get going, but I'll talk to you in the near future. Again, thanks for the offer of the charm. It's a great idea, and it definitely won't hurt to try it out." With that, he waves one more time and then walks back to the bench. He picks up his backpack, turns towards Chindi, and then disappears once more in a *poof* of light and smoke as he waves goodbye one final time, heading back home to take care of some unfinished business...
<> Recreation Room - Lv1
It's big. That much is beyond all shadow of a doubt. Designed for any number of people to relax in here, big windows, reaching all the way to the high ceiling, brighten the room, making it warm and inviting. Several couches are present here dotted all over the room, including two facing a large TV set, along with an armchair or two for individuals. Occasionally there are low tables, arranged with accompanying furniture. Against walls are tall green leafed plants. Fake or not? It's hard to tell. Exits leading away from here lead to either the great hall or the hallway, or even the classroom.

[Players : Max ]
Quark is busy preparing for a party, which is strangely and highly untypical of Quark. But hey, he's looking forward to some fun! He's got the tv on to the Super Bowl game--and yes, that's the -football- game--and he keeps moving back and forth between the rec room and the kitchen, bringing in some homemade snacks. Nothing fancy--just some pre-made meat and cheese sandwiches, some bottled soda pop, nachos and chili cheese dip, and some pizza rolls. Because he likes those, that's why. He idly hopes he won't be the only person to show up, though...he doesn't particularly like football, but he wants to hang out with some friends. Hopefully the fact that the room is still empty going into the second quarter isn't a bad sign no one else is going to show...
Thaddeus stumbles into the area, and eyes the screen..."I see..." he mutters coldly, turning immediately away from it...but the snacks draw him closer and he leans down to scoop some up. Seems Noren's vittles did not fill him utterly...yummy!
Norenvalei steps in shortly after Thad, having stuck behind to clean up of her little snack. Just enough to keep her from getting hungry for a couple of hours. Never a problem of leftovers with her in the house. She grins when she sees Quark, "Hello, Chris," and smiles as she heads over to plop down on the couch.
Quark smiles as Noren walks in, waving and giving her a small hug. "Nice to see you, Noren. Want some snacks? Made a few of them myself," he chuckles. He sits down and grabs the remote, taking some nachos for himself. He doesn't really love football, but he doesn't want Thaddeus to change it just because he hates football. Hmmm...still a tie game? Interesting. Looking to Noren, he asks, "So, who do you think's going to win?"
Thaddeus wishes to endulge in this ethnocentric viewing spree for any longer, instead he makes his way out of the room.
Norenvalei hmms, and after taking a few snacks and leaning back to lean against Quark a little, "I'm not sure Chris. But...I'll say, the Carolina Panthers, by a 3 point margin. Scored in the last 1:30 of the game."
Quark smiles at Noren, commenting at the score, "Yes, but right now the Patriots are ahead by a full seven points." He shrugs, and adds as he has some chips, "Well, we'll just have to see, won't we." He surveys the room and sighs, sitting next to her on the couch and commenting, "Oh well...guess no one else wants to show up. Just you and me." He winks, but adds nothing else.
Dakota enters the Rec room with a bitter look on his face, he's looked everywhere for his book and can't seem to locate it. "Maybe I left it in here?" He pauses seeing Noren and two others he hasn't met. He stays quiet and moves into the room, glancing on the table and round the chairs. He isn't a big football fan, in fact he's not a fan at all.
Norenvalei grins, and holds up a book for Dakota, "You left this in the kitchen, Dakota. I brought it with me when you hadn't popped back in." She won't comment on the material, but she does have a smile for him. He /is/ trying, though it seems dull for him to not be tossing insults left and right.
Quark looks up from the couch at Dakota and waves, greeting politely, "Hello Dakota, nice to meet you! I'm Chris, or Quark if you prefer." He motions to the nearby couch and asks, "Want to join us? No one else is really watching it either, but you can enjoy some good food..."
Dakota blinks as Noren holds up the book and his cheeks turn a light shade of pink. "Uh....in the Kitchen huh." He groans and runs his head with one hand and offer a wave to Quark. "...I uh I'm not a foodball fan dude." His stomach growls as he gets a nosefull of the food. "I uhmm guess I could hang out for a while. You know......chill." He makes his way towards the couch, holding his hand out for the book. "Yeah...thanks for grabbing it for me."
Norenvalei hands Dakota the book, face down and towards him in the same manner it had been left in the kitchen. He obviously didn't want anyone to know what he was reading, so she'll not say anything. "It's a very good book, I hope you enjoy it." Blaring hint there that she appreciates the effort... but it could be missed.
Quark doesn't comment on the book, as it seems to be a private conversation. However, he does reply with a chuckle, "It's alright, I hate football myself. I just wanted a chance for all of us to sit, eat, and mock the football players by complaining about how much better they could be doing." He grins innocently and shrugs, "Hey, it's actually quite fun."
Norenvalei seems to be enjoying the halftime show. "Who's that white man?"
Norenvalei (OOC) says, "referring to kid rock"
Dakota quickly snatches the book away from Noren, giving her a light thank you nod. He sits down and quickly tucks the book under the couch, out of sight. "So Quark." He reaches for some chips, "Isn't that they guy from Star Trek? The Ferengi that owns the bar?" He chuckles a bit as he chomps on some chips.
Quark shakes his head with a shrug, replying, "Umm...I'm not sure. I don't watch Star Trek. You might be talking about Kirk, though...they sound alike." Of course, his tone implies he has -no- idea of the correlation whatsoever. He explains with a chuckle, "I'm a Star Wars fan myself."
Norenvalei just snuggles against Quark a little more whil watching tv. The conversation is way over her head.
Dakota shakes his head, "Don't get the idea that I'm a trekkie man, no way. I've just seen a few episodes when I couldn't sleep, but there is this guy named Quark that owns a bar on..." He reaches for some more chips, "...Deep space nine." He shrugs and eats on the chips. "So you and Noren are an item huh?"
Norenvalei shifts and raises her head, looking back at Dakota, "What do you mean?"
Dakota says, "Well you guys seem pretty cozy, so thats why I asked if you two are an item." He leans back and glances at the TV.
Quark shrugs and smiles, "Don't worry, Star Trek is ok as far as I care. I just don't watch it," he laughs. At Dakota's last comment he blushes just slightly; he's still not sure what to call their relationship. They both like each other, but he's not sure if that qualifies as dating or just happy, semi-romantic quality time. As such, he's relieved when Noren speaks up and takes care of the talking, and adds nothing but a happy smile.
Norenvalei shrugs, and snuggles against Chris a little more, "cozy? I think that word fits." She rolls and wraps an arm around Quark, "Yes, Chris is very cozy, nice and comfy"
Dakota shakes his head at Noren, he'll just take that as a yes. He reaches for some chips and dip, eating them as he watches the game. "Oh..." He covers his mouth as he finishes chewing. "I picked up another book while I was out. American Sign Langauge, made easy." He rolls his eyes, "Man that is some hard stuff to remember, and I thought learning Cherokee was hard."
Quark rolls his eyes at Noren but gives her a hug, chuckling, "At least someone thinks so." He smiles at Dakota and nods at the comment about sign language, commenting himself, "I'm trying to learn ASL and Japanese at the same time, and I agree. It isn't easy at all..."
Norenvalei shrugs, "Not near as hard as learning English. Sign language and fingerspelling were a breeze." No one questions that Noren gained complete fluency in English (if sometimes questionable) in a little under 3 months.
Dakota blinks at Noren, "What a second? Fingerspelling?" He groans, "I thought there was just sign language...." He slumps on the couch like he's dead, "My brain can't take it.....I swear...."
Quark frowns in thought, eating a chip and asking Noren, "Isn't fingerspelling just a way to spell out letters of the alphabet with one hand? Or am I mixing that up with something else...?" He shrugs and smiles at Dakota, "Nah...just keep going. Studying topics you're not typically associated with challenges your brain and can actually increase brain activity. Or so I've heard," he shrugs.
Norenvalei chuckles, "Don't worry about it, Dakota. I'm sure it's appreciated that you are learning sign language. Fingerspelling comes in handy when you don't know the right sign, or the right way gesture, or have one of your hands or arms incapacitated." She then runs through the English version of the alphabet with her fingers and names each letter as she goes through. Then she uses it to spell out and say, "See? It is fairly simple, it's for hard words, like 'eeek' and such." She won't mention the other versions. The french alphabet, the german, the spanish, the russian. All are different.
Dakota nods at Noren, "Well you know Sophie is the only one that hasn't treated me like I'm a kid, or annoying or anything." He chuckles a bit at the last part. "Anyway I think the book I got has some stuff in there about finger spelling...not sure though I'll have to look."
Quark smiles at that, agreeing, "Yes, Sophie's a friend of mine. I'd say she's pretty nice." He doesn't really expand on that, lest he make Noren feel jealous or something like that. Quark really doesn't like to create tension between his friends..."I don't think you're a 'kid or annoying or anything'." And...then he pretty much stops talking, because apparently he doesn't count and they're into their own conversation about stuff. Quite funny, really. He grabs a small sandwich and a few more chips, grinning at the game on tv. He privately hopes that Noren's wrong, because if that specific of a prediction is right, he'll never be able to look her in the face again. Oh well...at least they're not betting on it. He quietly mutters with a grin, "Go Patriots...!" as he watches the game, staying comfy on the couch next to Noren.
Norenvalei snuggles a little more, then whispers, "good job, Panthers" and purrrs a little bit. Whether her purring is in support of the team she chose to win, or just because she likes her pillow is completely up in the air.
Dakota reaches under the couch and grabs his book, "Well I need to get going for a bit. I'll be back in a little while, gotta do a bit of reading and such." He stands and grabs a few sandwhiches as well as some chips. "So uhhm thanks for the grub and the company." He offers Noren a wink and just like there is an explosion of white smoke. The smell of ammonia fills the room for a moment, before the vents suck it all away.
Quark waves at Dakota, replying, "Oh, don't worry about it. Nice meeting you!" Although part of that might get cut off when Dakota spontaneously combusts--or, as it might seem more logical, teleports away. Hehe. He laughs aloud and cuddles Noren, commenting, "Apparently I'm not the only teleporter here. And here I am wondering what his power might be, but I didn't want to ask him..."
Norenvalei nods and snugs a little more, "Yeah, but you're not near as noisy as he is"
Quark laughs at that, but doesn't really comment. Nodding at the tv, he grabs another chip and dip--mmmm...the other students don't know what they're missing!--and comments sagely, "Looks like your team's losing." He winks at her, adding, "I don't know...your womanly intuition might be off-kilter on this one."
Norenvalei shrugs, "how much time is left? and what just happened?"
Quark shrugs likewise. "I dunno...I don't really follow football. And there are..." He checks the clock in the corner of the screen before it scrolls to commercials, "about 7 and a half minutes left of the final quarter." He dips some more chips...mmm! Yes, very good..."So, what's on after the game? Any good shows or anything?"
Norenvalei shrugs, "I don't know"
Quark grins, again having a bite to eat. After a quiet pause and a scoff at the ref's announcement, he eyes Noren with a grin and comments, "What's up? You sure aren't saying very much. The game that exciting? Or do I just make you breathless?" he jokes with a wink.
Norenvalei grins and nods, "The score, and yes, and yes" and shifts again, smiling a bit. She isn't really interested in watching the game.
Quark laughs again, hugging her and commenting happily, "Well, you sure do make me laugh." He reaches for a chip, but stops...hmm, he's had a few too many. Better take it easy, even though they are pretty good. Chris sure makes a mean chip dip, mm-hmm. He pats Noren and comments, "Well, thanks for watching it with me. It's been pretty fun." Short pause, and then with another laugh, "Although it looks like there's not going to be a 3-point difference..."
Jenny walks into the room, nose stuck in a book as she makes her way to an armchair near the TV. She hears the loud noise of the game that's on the screen and finally looks up. It takes her a moment before she remembers that this is the Superbowl, or something like that. She spots Norenvalei and Chris and waves at them before looking at the TV and wondering what's going on.
