A log from so damn long ago I don't even remember an approximate date. Just that is was Nisa telling Walter she kissed Alex.
Boredom runs rampant in the mind of young Walter. So great the boredom has become, that he has taken to doing something that less bored individuals dread even mentioning. Schoolwork. He's preparing for next semesters classes. He's currently immersing himself in a guide to German pronounciation, sitting crosslegged on his bed, feet habitually bare. His door stands open, inviting any potential distraction to join him.
Nisa is a walking potential distraction, and does just that. She knocks quietly on the door before stepping inside the room. "Hello Walter," she says, peering down at the book he's engrossed himself in.
Walter puts the book aside the moment something more interesting presents itself, and Nisa certainly qualifies. Nothing special really, just a German primer. "Hi, Nisa. Come on in." He pats the bed at his side, beckoning her to join him. "What's up?"
Nisa sits ont he bed and leans against the wall. "Not much, just thought would come over. Have... you seen anyone new around campus? Maybe with Doctor Grey?" she asks, playing with the ends of her braids.
Walter shakes his head, "No, I don't think we've gotten any new students since Esmie." He joins Nisa, sittiing right next to her, leaning equally against the wall and against her side, resting his head on her shoulder. "Did you talk to Doctor Grey yet about changing roommates?"
"Not yet, was goign to wait till can get Esmie to go with me," She says. her fingers tug at the elastic holding the braid together, slipping it off and freeing the wavy locks.
Walter lifts his rear from the bed, putting himself in position to kiss Nisa's cheek. "Mira said something was bothering you," he informs, though he manages to make it sound like a question. What was bothering you, that is the message carried by his voice, underneath the one carried by his words.
She did, did she? Nisa barely stops herself from saying. "Oh, is nothing. Everything is sorted out now," Nisa says with a smile.
Walter looks up at Nisa, wondering. "You sure? It sounded like it was important." Something about us, he wants to say, but can't. "You can talk to me about anything, remember?"
Nisa nods slowly and slumps against the wallt, letting her head rest on top of Walter's on her shoulder.
Walter slides a hand between the wall and Nisa, rubbing at her back. "What happened, Nisa?"
"Do not want to worry you, Walter," Nisa says, half pleaing for him to drop the subject.
Walter sighs heavily. "Mira made it sound like it was something small. I'm more worried that you don't want me to know. I think Mira might have been wrong." He looks at the door. It does not close. Telekinesis Test: Failed. Walter breaks his hold on Nisa to climb off the bed, shutting the door, if Nisa is worried about telling him, she probably doesn't want the entire boy's wing knowing either.
Nisa watches as Walter closes the door and looks up to him from the bed. "It is small! Very small, which is why did not tell you," She says, trying to manage a natural smile.
Walter sits down back next to Nisa. "Well, why not tell me now?" he asks, looking into her eyes the best he can.
"Because... still do not want to upset you?" Nisa offers, her facial features twisted in thought.
Walter lifts his hips from the matress, and kisses Nisa's lips. /That's/ what he thinks of that.
Nisa is unsure of how to respond to that other than kiss back. She eyes him, trying to see if he's expecting her to continue or not.
Walter looks up at Nisa, "What was it Nisa, if it was really something small, why not tell me?"
"Because I don't want you to not like me," Nisa admits, voice and eyes dropping. /Wow/ is that bed spread interesting right now.
Walter kisses Nisa again. "Of course I like you, I /love/ you. Tell me, I promise I won't get mad."
Nisa curls her legs agaisnt her torso and rests her chin on her knees. "I... IkissedAlex," she mumbles quickly, barely above a whisper.
Stops, dead in his tracks. He sits down, expression going blank as he stares at the other bed, the never used other bed. True to his word, he doesn't get mad. Stunned seems to be a better word for his reaction.
Nisa face goes red and she dips her head to curl in between her knees. The silence is almost worse than yelling.
"Did he kiss back?"
"Yes. But then it stopped. We... didn't mean to," come the muffled responce.
Knows how that is. If Mira hadn't remembered Nisa when she had, he'd probably have made the same mistake. With a cuter partner, but hey, not everyone can be Dynamo. "Just once?"
isa nods, still hiding her head from walter's view. "Just once," she confirms.
Walter curls up into a little metabolic manipulating ball. "Did you like it?" he asks, nearly afraid of the answer.
Nisa shrugs, finally lifting her head. "It was a kiss," she answers neutrally.
"Not like ours?" he asks hopefully.
"Not like ours!" Nisa agrees. Because it /wasn't/.
Walter looks at his girlfriend, smiling. "Ours are better?" he asks, hopeful, bordering on bragging.
"Of course!" Nisa replies with a hint of a smile. Because Walter is her /boyfriend/. Not Alex. So of course they are better!
Havok, outkissed by a noob. Walter beams, and tackles Nisa, kissing her. Yep, safe to say that Nisa's forgiven
Nisa is taken by complete surprise by walter's reaction. "You... are ok with that?"
Walter smiles, "Not going to do it again right?" He kisses her again, still beaming. Walter's a good kisser. Satan says "It's /so/ very cold. /Why/ is it so cold?"
"I will not, I promise," Nisa says with a grin. She doesn't hear Satan, because she doesn't believe in him. But she bets Walter's mother heard him!
Walter's mother hears voices? What a horrible thing to say. Nisa is mean to potential-maybe-someday-in-laws. Walter beams, and kisses Nisa. Besides, if hearing voices in your head makes you crazy, Xavier's regular 'morning announcments' should have them renaming this place 'Xavier's Asylum for Unmedicated Crazies.'
