Leonardo sounds very casual, "I just came back from Hawaii" casual. The voicemail is sent some time early in the afternoon. "Hello, Ms. Frost? I have what may sound like a strange question. Do you have a house or a mansion of some sort? I'm not sure if the place we visited with the large gate was your house or not, I don't remember it well. This is concerning your Christmas gift, I need to figure out where to put it. I suppose I should have figured that out sooner, but I didn't want to give you time to figure out what the gift is, and spoil the surprise." he chuckles right after that, but continues. "Just leave me a voicemail or whatever is most convenient for you."
To Kara comes a large official looking guy, he's even wearing sunglasses and a black suit. Why did Leonardo hire this person to deliver a package to Kara? Dramatics, of course. The man comes before the time Kara said she was leaving, and when she answers the door he'll say, "I was instructed to deliver this to Kara Ryman, if you are not Kara Ryman I cannot give you this package. I will need to see some ID." He is quite obviously not a messenger, and if he is, he's not a normal one.
The package itself when unwrapped (It's wrapped securely in brown package paper.), is a photo album with green palm tree leaf designs, and a blue watery background. The photos are their photos from Hawaii. When she opens the album there will be a letter that reads:
Thank you for understanding who I am. I cannot promise I will not some day begin trying those things again, I cannot predict my feelings, but I do promise to never put you in any danger in the process. I do not understand your reasons for accepting what I said, and I genuinely hope that you meant it, but I will not question this. I would like to request that you not tell many people that you know me, for safety reasons, but I do not mind your school friends, I doubt they are very threatening.
Sincerely,
Leonardo.
