Jean and her perspective on what happened to Piotr. Digging up old wounds? Does she view it as similar, or different, and how?

How is she feeling about where the school and X-Men are nowadays? What does she think about the outing of the X-Men?

When is Matt going to start hitting the field again? What are his feelings about Sabby nowadays? Has he finished grieving?

Does she view it as similar, or different, and how?It's not quite digging up old wounds, because the wounds it pokes at run deep enough that they're not quite healed over yet, even at a year's remove and some seriously intense coping mechanisms. She's not entirely sure where the school and the X-Men are at, at the moment. In general, everyone seems to be not so much moving in any particular direction as sitting in the middle of the ocean after a hurricane, repairing the sails and waiting to see what way the wind will blow now. She's sure that whatever way it does blow, they'll be ready, but what way that will be, she's not sure ( ... )

Jean: Does she ever lament the direction her life has taken? Where does she think she'd be if she wasn't a mutant? Wasn't an X-man?

How does she feel about being somewhere near the center of the rivalry between two important male figures in her life?

And, self-indulgently, does she ever think that maybe Logan's a bad influence on her?

Matt: Why firefighting?

Does he think he's going to see forty?

And in the spirit of retaliatory reciprocal cheese, how does he feel about Elliott?
