Life is good, but poor world, it's such a mess right now.
I came home from work the other night and sitting on my keyboards was a package in black, I opened it and saw AN IPOD NANO! My Uncle Robby bought it for me as a late birthday gift since he's been gone travelling and super busy all summer, but he definately made up for missing my birthday. He also bought one for my brother for....his promotion from 8th grade to High School since that was in June when he was gone too pfft promotion, big deal. Anyways I named mine Penelope Pilar since I love those names and also Paloma but my mom says I can't name my daughter any of those names and Jaime says if I do they better not be his kids, whatever they just can't appreciate beautiful names. JERKS. Anyways moving on....
Lately I've been working lots of hours, but they're not bad hours in fact they're VERY good and I really like my new job, front desk at the hotel. It's fun, and I work with really cool people, but my training is gonna be over this week so after that I'll be working some shifts all by myself but it's cool cuz when it gets slow I can just read my books and magazines and listen to music and stuff like that. My 8 hour shifts go by sooooo fast it's insane cuz usually at first it's super busy then it calms down then it gets a little busy and then I file away all the paperwork and book reservations and then people check in/out and then it gets really slow for like the last 2 hours and it's fun. I dunno, I like it, the money is good and the hours are good so no complaints as of yet. Aside from work Friday night Vianey, Vince, Jaime and I planned to go bowling but ended up going to eat at BJ's at the Tustin Marketplace instead, it was fun to say the least.
Saturday after I got off of work at 3 I went to lunch with my mom and then got ready and around 6:30 Jaime and Vianey picked me up and then we picked Vince up and our original plans were to go to an Angels game but that didn't end up working out and instead we went to the Irvine Spectrum and saw The Corpse Bride and it was really good, I love movies with lots of creativity and vibrant colors and stuff like that, oh that Tim Burton he never fails to impress. Anyways, it was really good and after that we went driving around in search of somewhere to eat but it was already like 10 so lots of places were closing so we wrote places to eat on paper and had Vianey pick one haha of course she picked Del Taco, but the boys said ViVi and I rigged it so we ended up going to eat at a random A&W/KFC haha Jaime and Vince and that damn Jukebox, FREAKBOYS. Vianey and I are always so sophisticated and they are just a mess. Anyways, Jaime ended up getting his panties in a bundle over who knows what and to break the ice I flicked my mashed potatoes at him meaning to only hit his mouth a little bit but instead it smacked him right in the cheek and exploded all over his hair and neck as well AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA SUCKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Boy did we have our laughs about that, even Jaime had to laugh, I though he was gonna be really mad but nope, that's my loverboy. Anyways, after all of that we took off to my house and sat around for a few minutes then my mommy and brother came home so Jaime, Vince, and Vianey took off.
Sunday Jaime picked me up from work at 3 and we cashed my check and then I went to Macy's and bought my mommy an expensive damn purse and wallet, for her birthday and then Jaime bought her a box of chocolates aw how cute he's just like Forrest Gump and then we walked around the mall and ran into George and his g/f talked to them for a few minutes, then he brought me home and I gave my mom her gift even though it was a day early cuz her birthday was yesterday [monday] and then Jaime took off and then my mom, dad, brother, and I went out to eat for her birthday dinner, my brother chose Joe's crab shack for her so since he always gets his way that's where we went, it was good, my dad had the balloon man make her a hat that's like 3 feet tall it was hilarious she was so pissed when he made her wear it. ahhh priceless moments with the family. Then home and stuff.
Monday Jaime didn't work and I didn't either so he picked me up and we went to The Block, saw our Boston Terrier puppy Rocky that we're gonna get soon and walked around ate lunch at Pasta Bravo. Walked around holding hands and kissing and hugging like gross couples do, but it was a beautiful day and I love him and it's nice to be able to spend time together when we can. Then back to his house to upload songs to my new Ipod Nano that I named Penelope Pilar. Oh how I love it. Did that, played with Lindsey [his niece] and his sister Marisol, good times haha I love watching them fight with each other it's hilarious cuz Lindsey is 2 and Marisol is 5. So anyways this updates been way longer than I wanted it to be but whatev just killing some time before work I work 2nd shift today which is 3-11 but I work with Melissa so it won't be bad at all cuz she's fun to talk to. Okie Dokie thats about it.
