ruby came out from under the bed today. she had a tumor on her side that was growing. it must have been bothering her, because she chewed a hole in it the size of a silver dollar and ripped off a lot of her fur in the process. i called the vet and we put her down. sometimes the kindest things that we do hurt the most. i hugged her until she was gone. she was a great dog, even if she didn't like strangers. i'll miss her a lot.

this and eddie. i don't know how much more saddness i can take.
