induction for my new job tomorrow.
i dunno what i think of this job yet. yes, the place is great, and its a great opportunity. but the downsides?
- its in mitcham. for those of you who don't know, that would be more than an hour from my place in peak traffic.. and that means a shitload of petrol.
- i earn $239 a week, that's without tax. so i'll get roughly $200 a week. that has to get me petrol (say goodbye to at least $60), pay off my car, savings, plus everyday things like clothes for work (officey type, i don't own much so i have to get new shit), phone bill (i'm gunna change to a capped plan), socialising, lion king ticket, etc etc.
- its through megt. so i have to put up with them too as i am officially an employee of megt, and not the actual place i work for (retarded system)
it being in mitcham would be fine, but on $200 a week, its going to be a bit hard.
i am just hoping yarra valley toyota say yes. if not, i stinge until i am not a trainee anymore (say goodbye to updates from me, i'll be spending all my time on my school work so i can get off my traineeship). and then what? i have no idea.
does anyone know if you can get a concession card being a trainee?
