Marking one of the odder new trends in rock, a nude picture of what appears to be Daryl Palumbo, lead singer for the local band Head Automatica, appeared on a pornographic blog Sunday morning.
Like Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, whose nude pictures recently circulated on the Internet, Palumbo apparently snapped a revealing picture of himself - snarling and flexing a bicep while his tattooed right arm holds a mobile device - in the mirror of what looks like a hotel bathroom. Whether Palumbo intended the picture for public viewing is unclear: His record label, Warner Bros, declined to comment. But the snapshot on the blog happens to be accompanied by the Bellmore band's logo and a streaming video for the new single "Graduation Day."
As of yesterday, the blog featured several comments on the photo, ranging from "cute and skinny" to "adorable" to "just unfortunate." One read: "Great post. I love Head Automatica."
