Yay!
Well I haven't updated here in a bit. I blame this squarely on the heatwave we've been having. I do not like hot weather and am not above whining about it.
Honestly, it's like someone suddenly decided that the thermostat wasn't up high enough or something, so I've been spending most of my evenings camped out underneath the air conditioner with damp towels after a cool shower X-x.
Other than that things have been going pretty well. Got my first assessment next week, which I am dutifully studying for. It shouldn't be too bad, it's mostly a review of what we've been taught over the last couple of months so I'm not too worried about it. Got my last essay done as well, which was good. I'm just waiting on my tutor finishing off reading it through then the final draft just needs to be handed in ^^.
I spoke to Takeru, Daisuke and Steve-san over Skype at the weekend. That was fun and we talked about a lot {Daisuke mostly about food because he was hungry. Also about spiders and the fact that apparently the European ones are more likely to sneak up on you and eat you... go ask Dai about it}.
Hikari and I went to the cinema on Sunday evening, that was loads of fun. We were quite happy to stand at the air conditioners but the lure of ice cream and the movie made us move away from them. Luckily the cinema has air conditioners at the back of every screen so we camped out there early and ate our ice cream before it all melted {thankfully we managed to get more snacks that wouldn't melt before the movie started, but it really was that hot}. We went back to my place and spent the rest of the evening complaining about the weather and just catching up.
Anyways I'd better go, it's too hot to have this thing sitting in my lap all evening. Take care all, loads of love miya xx
