so i guess ive neglected you for long enough and ive done enough to make this exciting
a) SYDNEY TRIP - with my ladies, was AWESOME, we're such old nannas, we went to bed early most nights hahaha, i got drunk and started stomping in puddles and dropped my digital camera in one hahahaha... i was so concerned with losing my tom gabels pictures that cat had to remind me it was on the memory card not the camera lolz.
TERRENTIAL RAIN AND FLASH FLOODS, oh god, the umbrella carnage of 07 it will be known as, umbrellas on teh floor every 10 metres, and jammed in rubbish bins, FIRSTLY SYNDYE HAS LIKE 5 BINS IN TOTAL, AND THEN THEYRE JAMMED WITH UMBRELLAS HAHAHAHAHA.
First day of Come together was awesome, against me! were amazing, the draft were awesome, Los capitanes were rad, mach pelican were cool, darkest hour, everytime i die and norma jean are worth a mention tooo.
Sunday was pretty rad, Picture the end, Mammal, Hope here gone, dead letter circus and karnivool!
Went to canberra the next with jo, her mum made this AMAZING dinner for my bday and invited people around and had cake and oh, shes darling. hung around in canberra for a couple days, went to questocon.
BACK HOME.
2)karnivool gig that night - was good to see the boys play again, caught bushido and dead letter circus again, vool played some new songs, new day is def my fave.
stayed at jo's with ally and met up with tys during the day to get Against me! arty show tix.
Next night was Melizma @ the epsy, everyone went to against me! so noone was at the show, was kinda funny, went to against me! was an fucking kick ass show, fist punching foot stamping show.
wanted to go out after but was broke, got a lift home with cat and her sister.
Saturday went into the city to meet gamma to help her record her interview with the draft, at the am! underage, turned out they couldnt let us in cos of licensing laws, fair enough.
Went and hung out at my cousins house for a tad, then met ally ben scooter elise greg bert tamara and jane at bert's stepdads restuarant and had really cheap awesome food! good times. benj drove me home. then i slept :D
NOW TO YESTURDAY. was the best day i think ive ever had since i can remember, went and did the against me! interview, i was realllllly nervous, but i think i did ok hiding it, they knew i was super psyched, and i think i do about the same amount of talking in the interview as they did hahahahaha... i thinmk it was an ok first interview for me seeing as it was one of my favouritist bands of all time, they are the nicest guys, got to interview warren and tom, james an andrew were around! GOSHHHH
me and gam, met up with ally & had bimbo's then headed back to hang at jo's til the show. the show was, well i cant put into words how amazing it was, i finally heard 'Baby! I'm an anarchist' live, dream come true, and they played it last, it was amazing, they are amazing. I was int eh best mood afterwards, everyone was. Against me! make people feel like they can take on the world. im so glad i have something that can make me feel that way... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
then i had to work today and it totally sucked, cos i wasted the best mood ive ever been in, by going home to bed cos i had to work!
*sigh* the adventure is over.
