*ahem* Sonnet 33
Whoever said that poetry was easy
Didn't write poetry for ms. balls class
When I try to write some it sounds cheesy
I feel so stupid, or should I say crass?
Nobody seems to understand my poems
They sometimes can be very intricate
It's a mystery and I'm Sherlock Homes
Explaning them I feel like a nit-wit
Poetry doesn't always make sense at times
That is alright though, it does not have to
You write about lemons when you meant limes
Don't get down on yourself, don't feel so blue
As I've said before, poetry's not easy
Reading this poem, ugh..now I feel queasy.
