I'd swim across Lake Michigan. I'd sell my shoes.

I know, I know.

So I've been having an exist-LJ-entialist crisis here, okay? I've been thinking, "Wow, I haven't been on LJ in forevskies..." and then thinking, "What the hell is the point of having a LiveJournal?" and "I seriously need to catch up on my shows." and "HOW DO I EVEN KNOW IF WHO I REALLY AM IS CONVEYED THROUGH THIS STUPID ONLINE JOURNAL THING?? WHAT IF MY PERSONALITY IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT IF ALL YOU KNEW WAS THIS BLOG?????" and so on and so forth. And now, this is me braving my crisis to post an entry. ANYWAY.

I'm sorry, guys. Would you mind if I--? I mean, would it be okay if--? What I'm trying to say is--? Can I just--? Only for a second...
SLAUGHTERHOUSE-FIVE. JEEZY CREEZY.
THAT BOOK. I can't even tell you. I don't even know. I finished it a couple weeks ago and I loved it so so so much. It was just... perfect, you know? I felt like it was written with "Raka's Perfect Book" in mind. There are no words. I loved it. fsjka fjsdklaj fjkldsa ;
Also, story time! Me and la famille went camping in Zion National Park, which is this gorgeous canyon in Utah. (Unrelated, but as it turns out, I hate camping.) So there's a trail up to a cliff called Angel's Landing. The first two miles are uphill, so it was hard at times but nothing murderous, but the last half mile?

Rock climbing. It was SO MUCH FUN, omg. And the hardest thing I've ever done, since I am terribly inactive. But the VIEW from the top?

It was amazing. So you know what I did? I finished reading Slaughterhouse-Five on top of a fucking cliff.

I AM SO COOL.

So, um, yeah. And then when I was catching myself up on Lost, I saw "The Constant" and I nearly died. It's like this amazing inside joke that the writers had with everyone who's read that book.

Now, currently, I am reading A Clockwork Orange. It's trippy. Like, trippier than the Alice in Wonderland ride in Disneyland. Speaking of which, I'd really like to go to Disneyland right now. Except for the fact that it is hotter than a dead possum on a tin roof in Death Valley.

Also, I need a job.
