(no subject)
Well not really seeing as I've already missed out with Spring cleaning. But anyways, it's that late time of year again! Time to start cleaning, getting rid of useless junk that you don't need anymore, maybe even selling somethings. Redecorating your room/house, moving furniture around and getting rid of furniture that you don't need anymore.
For me, it's all about reinventing my room and myself this Summer. I've gone through a though time lately and it's time to make myself start feeling better by getting a new look and feel to my room. By getting rid of things that are useless and things that I don't need anymore. Of course I will try to sell somethings on Livejournal, have a major contest at my review blog.
I've been looking for a new cadge for Trix and I think that I finally found one. It's a really nice size, two levels and it's apparently easy to clean. I need to go to PetSmart to see if they have one so I can look at it better instead of Online. But the only problem is that it's $274. I showed it to my mom last night and she said that when she had the money, she would half it with me. I guess that is alright but it's still way too much for a cadge. The current one that Trix has, I payed over $200 for it, it has plastic on it, and it's not really great. He basically will eat anything and everything, just like a rabbit, but he is worth it. I love my baby boy.
I've also been looking for a leash for him so I can take Trix on little walks in the back. He needs to be outside more. The only reason I've never done it before in the houses we've had was because I did not know what kind of plants were out back or in the front. Certain ones will kill him, so you could say that I'm overprotective when it comes to Trix. But now that we live in a different place, it seems safe for him to go outside and not in the grass. I will order it when I can get his new cadge.
Oh, last weekend I went to Radio Shack and finally got a new USB for my camera's memory card! I can now upload pictures again!
I've missed doing that so bloody much. Although I really didn't have that many pictures on my camera, it's just nice to know that I can finally do it again.

I woke up late today, a little after 12.
I was going to sleep ten more minutes that that ended up being over an hour. I was in a panic because I wanted to go ahead and go to Books-A-Million. Little did I know that it was going to rain today!
But luckily we were not in the rain or anything, although it did start to rain some but nothing to major. There was just a lot of thunder and lighting! I for one, adore thunderstorms. I don't know why, I just do.
So apparently this year we are going to have a really have hurricane season. To be completely honest, I'm pretty happy about this. I mean Florida is murder in the Summer with the heat, so I hope that with all the hurricanes it will cool things off a lot. Well it will either cool things off or it will be completely humid! Sometimes I wished I lived in another state/country because of the heat but you take what you get.
At the bookstore, I was extremely exited because the new Vampire Academy book was out, Spirit Bound. But the thing that I really hate about going to the bookstores at home is that whenever a book is released, it takes a few weeks for them to put it out on the shelf. Well it's been out for a few weeks but still nothing! Maybe it was in the big semi truck that I saw that said BOOKS-A-MILLION on the side. But I did end up getting one book that I've been wanting, My Soul To Keep. I still need to review the previous one for my review blog. It's been a couple of months, so I need to jump on that ASAP!
I also finally got a new day planner for my purse and a sketch book for my purse as well. Both are a brand called Moleskin, apparently it is supposed to be "wonderful" and "amazing" but all I see are semi yellow pages. I also got the new Allure with Megan Fox on the cover.
I also received two packages in the mail today too! The first package was something that I bough from someone off of Livejournal and the second package was something that I had ordered back in March! I had to wait a while because something that I pre-ordered did not come out until a certain day in March but it was all worth it! Below are the packages I got.
This is The Encyclopedia of Japanese Pop Culture. I bought this from someone over at Livejournal. It's in good condition with minimal shelf wear but the bottom of the spine is all bent, it could be from being throw around in the mail, it happens. I'm not complaining, I actually love it so far! Even though they did not put Sailor Moon or it's creator Naoko Takeuchi in the book, that's alright.

So it's been a week since I've even updated this thing. I wanted to try to keep the blog updates every day or two but you at least I'm updating now. Nothing really interesting happened this week. I basically cleaned, I'm still cleaning, and did laundry. Nothing like a freshly made bed to sleep in!
I have got to finis my room before I leave Wednesday. There's not that much stuff on the floor but I still need to tackle the closet which also doubles as a storage place. Then I want to rearrange my bookcases, get rid of books I don't want anymore and do the same thing with my DVD's & CD's.
On Wednesday I'm going to my step sister's High School Graduation! I can't believe that she's already graduating. It seems like she was still a freshman and I was a sophomore. Time flew by, literally. I'll be gone basically all day hanging out over at her house until we leave for the ceremony. Before at her house, she is having a little party but I said that I would get there at 12 or so. It will be the first time that I'll be seeing her since I left for College last Fall!
OH! And because it's now officially June, it is officially hurricane season! Which means rain and it will either be extremely muggy or cool. Mostly it's just been very muggy out and I don't like it. It's also extremely hot outside! If it's one thing I hate it's the heat. Today was no exception either. When you get in the car it is totally unbearable but then when you go to drive you basically burn your hands on the steering wheel! And everyone always asks me why Winter is my favorite season, well because it's nice and cool and you don't have to hear me complain about how hot it is.
This week I did go to Wal*Mart and I did get a few things in the mail. So below are the things from this week. :) I don't remember the day's that I got everything so I can't tell you that much. xD

I got this cute little pouch for my camera from Etsy.com. It started getting slightly scratched in my purse and I wanted something to protect it. It's really nice and thick with thick padding. Isn't it cute? THIS is the seller.
Next we have Princess Serenity of Sailor Moon. It's a cute little key chain. I bought this for my key's. (Can I have them now?!) She is still in her little package but she will be coming out of it very soon. I'm a major de-boxer. :)
The next is for my DS! I finally found a nice clear cover for my DS. It also came with the two screen protecters! I choose clear so I can deco it. :)
Next we have my goodies from my trip to Wal*Mart. I picked up The Incredibles on DVD, it has to be one of the most underrated Pixar movies. Alice In Wonderland DVD, Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead, I finally out it! And huge push pins in blue and green. :)
On Thursday my mom and I went to 711 at like 3 in the morning to get junk food and Slurpies! Not the smartest thing to ever do but it was a nice fun thing to do. :)

So today I had my very first class. The class was Successful Story Telling and it was awesome! My teacher is Robert DiNozzi and he’s an actually producer. He flies in every Thursday to teach the class and that's pretty cool of him to do. He's pretty cool and funny too. Though I must say, I know that I'm in college now but it's strange hearing your instructor cuss but funny at the same time. Anyway he's produced a lot of movies and one I'm not sure everyone knows about. It stars a little known actress by the name of Jodie Foster and the movie is Flight Plan. Ever heard of it? Yeah, I didn't think so. ;)
We talked a bit about movies and the plot lines, emotions and that kind of thing that has to do with planning and making the movie. I took notes of course but now I need to transfer those to my bigger note book that I bought for the class.
We got hands out and the original script to, get this, SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION! It is pretty awesome! Oh and we got to watch the movie. The movie was on VHS and it kept having problems because how old it is. I ended up leaving after six forty so I could make it back to the dorm before dark, which I did. I do have homework but I just have to read the script, which we get to keep, and answer a few questions like who the bad guy/good guy was and the protagonist and such. I have to set my printer up with my computer again because all assignments for that class are supposed to be typed.
I am really exited for this class. If they acting does not work, then I'm going to go into producing or writing for sure. :D

The Script
So today I did my first load of laundry here. It’s safe to say that when I had all the dirty clothes in the laundry bag, the bag itself made me tip over and was pretty much bigger than me. :( The washer and dryer are sort of different from what I’m used to but it’s easy at the same time, so I like it. I had to do two loads and each load is $1.50 for washing and drying. That’s half of my roll of quarters, pathetic. I stayed in the basement while I waited for it to be done and it took a while. I watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding on ABC Family. I think it’s the only channel we get, now that’s sad. Once my laundry was finished, I packed it all up and went up my room but the door was locked. So I was basically locked out with my roommate, Jerika. Sad thing is, Anastasia went to pack and needed Jerika’s key. So we got Lana to open up the door but at least we got into the room. Not a lot happened today.
I really wanted to go to the San Francisco Zoo today but didn’t get up in time. I’m really sad because I wanted to see the monkeys and giraffes and such but I’ll go one day.
Besides laundry, I cleaned and that’s it. My Saturday was pretty much boring but quiet at the same time. I’m not complaining because I liked it.
This was one of the things that was going on last night. A video game contest thing where the first winner one a Yoshi. By the time I was ready to go down, it was after 8:30. So I was pretty much sad. I’ll go back to Japantown to get one! :D
This is something that one of the RA’s on the upper levels, Wendy, will be taking up to Japantown tomorrow. I think that I may go even if I go by myself.
So today we went to the Sausalito Art Festival. At first I was not going to attend but when I woke up Le had gotten back and asked if I wanted to go. So of course I wanted to go because I did not want to be left alone in the dorm room all by myself and I thought that it would be fun.
The boat ride over there was about thirty minutes. We all sat up at the very top with the wind blowing, which was nice. We took picture's talked about random stuff and for some odd reason we started talking about hunted places and were we would want to visit.
Once we were there, it was crowded and packed! I mean you could hardly move two inches without people bumping into you or something. There of course was music but it wasn't what I was expecting. I totally forgot the Woodstock turned 40 this year and there had a whole Woodstock reunion thing where they had some original members of bands. There was even this chick who sounded like Janis Joplin but not nearly as good.
We walked around for a bit looking at the art and some of it was crazy. With random abstract paintings to clothing being part of the art to woodcarvings and normal paintings to while, swirly paintings. A lot of the stuff I actually liked and would have loved to have it. HA! If only it was, like, five dollars then you've got yourself a deal.
After we got done looking at the art, we walked around the food area. I could not breathe due to the crowd and the smell of food. I kept getting sick to my stomach. I didn't want food, I wanted a drink so that's what I got. Oh before I forget, the drinks were $3.00 and the ice-cream was $4.00. So wrong but the drinks were so worth it. I wanted ice-cream but nope, did not get any. :)
Once we got Le some Fish & Chips, we tried to go listen to the music but there were too many people. Thought there was this one drunk lady who jumped at Le saying that she was so cute and how her son just loves Japanese girls. The whole situation was very creepy and you couldn't help but laugh at it. We got out of there and went to the arts & crafts area for the little kids.
I made two flowers with water colors in spray bottles and I colored a star! :D Yeah I'm special. After that we bummed around this model thing of the bay inside for a while before making another flower and heading out to the dock to wait to board the boat again.
Once we got back, we all had dinner. I had this strange turkey wrap thing on a GREEN tortilla. No not what I was expecting but it made my stomach hurt. After that we went back to the dorm.
At the end of the day, I had a horrible sun burn on the back of my neck instead of my face for once. And the back of my neck looks purple and hurts really bad but I'll survive. :)

I had a very good day today and I have a horrible sun burn on the back of my neck. :)
So today we went to a few stores and had dinner out. Le, Jessica, Jasmine, and I went to Peril, an art store. Then all four of us plus Rachel and Crystal went out to eat and used our Knight Kash.
We first went to the school's art store, I so can't spell it, so Le, Jessica and Jasmine could get supplies for their classes. Then we walked down to Pearl so they could get more supplies cheaper. I got a sketch book from Peril so I can have my friends make random picture's in it like a sketch memory book or something like that for this year. :)
After word, we walked back to the dorm to drop our stuff so we could go to dinner. As we walked into the lobby to go, the line was all the way in the lobby. So we basically ended up eating at an Italian Restaurant literally down from the dorm.
The food was pretty good but I got a little sick after word. I don't know but it was good. Oh we also went to the Library too.

So nothing really happened today. I worked on homework for Succesful Story Telling where I had to read the Script for Shawshank Redemption and answer some questions about it. I went to Blockbuster so I could rent a movie for another Homework assigment due Friday. I had to pick a movie that I've already seen and that has my favorite actor/actress in it. I got The Notebook, I've seen is a billion times and it has Rachel McAdams, who is my favorite actress. :)
With that movie, I have to write a page answering questions that my teacher gave us. Should be easy. After that I had to go to Walgreens for a second, got dinner and worked.
At Walgreens, Anastasia came with me, and we were bored and we also knew that we all had homework. So we got glitter glue pens and paint brush pens and pretty much decorated our "pictures" that is on our door. It was so much fun and a lot of laughing. :D

So last night after I got back from class, I went to dinner with Anastasia. While we were looking for a table to sit at, I spotted Rachel, Jasmine, Tempest, Jessica and Jerika. We went over and ate there and also invited us to the basment for Sing Star!
I've never played Sing Star but I've always wanted too and I was not going to pass that up. After dinner, I went back to the room to put my stuff up and headed down to the basment.
When I got down there, then had already started singing and I quickly noticed a Coffee/Hot Chocolate Machine. Of course I wanted a cup of hot chocolate but there were no more cups. :( Oh well, so I had soda. *Gasp* SHOCKER! :O
I don't even remembr the song thatI did first, all I know is that I realy didn't want to sing "for real" but whatever, I had fun. When we got done with the first disc, we changed it to the second one only to encounter problems. The PS2 started acting funny and it took a while for the thing to play.
When it finally did, I was happy as everyone else was. Some people started to come down only to turn back around again and leave. That was pretty funny, we "scared them off". :)
Towards the end, some people came down and they sang with us as well. We didn't go back to our dorms until a quarter till two but at least it was worth it.

Oh by the time I got back to the room, my throat was killing me but I had major fun.
So today we all decided that we would do Sing Star again. We talked about it over brunch today, which I had waffles and all decided that 6:30 would be a good time. Once we all left brunch, we headed back to our dorms and did homework before Le, Jerika and I went to dinner. After words we went down the hall and hung out there for a little bit before we all headed down.
We didn't go at it for every long. Only like two or three hours before we went back up to our rooms. If we didn't have class tomorrow, we'd still be playing it.
But the cool part it, Pri, one of the floors RA’s came down and saw us playing. We all started talking and we will be having a Sing Star night! With free food and each room will pick a song or something to sing and what not. That's coming up soon too. I so can't wait. ^_^
