One of my best friends just got broken up with after a really long serious relationship. He's devestated and it's hitting me hard. Man, life is just shitty sometimes. He was certain they were going to get married.
Last week at home was really nice. Pamela and I are doing really well. I've been really happy. Home is so pretty right now. If you're there, get out and enjoy it.
I had breakfast yesterday with a guy who went to the city in Peru I'll be going to 2 years ago. He told me all about it, and I've got to say that I am really really excited. I'll talk more about that later.
I wish everybody (including me) could just slow down. I feel like we're all going through life brushing past each other but never getting to know each other.
If you haven't seen Obama's speech on race from yesterday you should find it on youtube or his website or something. He's far from perfect and I didn't agree with everything he said, but that speech was the best I've ever heard a politician give on race.
