In case you were concerned about me quite possibly not being obsessed enough, I bring you Exhibit A.
I went to Borders on Sunday and found this Fall Out Boy biography.
I TOOK NOTES.
No joke.
Just random things I didn't know.
Chances are, if I didn't know them, you didn't.
So read on.
And maybe one day you can become more obsessed than I am.
If that's possible...
* Joe's dad is a cardiologist.
* Patrick worked part-time at a bookstore.
* Joe can play the trumpet.
* The bands Patrick drummed in before this one are: Public Display of Infection (that name is my personal favorite) , xgrindingProcessZ and Patterson.
* The bands Pete based..in are as follows: XBirthrightx, xFirstborn, Arma Angelous (help me on the spelling, dear!), 7 Angels of the Apocalypse, Culture of Violence, Extinction, Forever Ended Today, Yellow Road Priest and Project Rocket.
* The inspiration of TTTYG was from one of Pete's ex-girlfriends who had cheated on him with two of his best friends- on the same weekend. HO!
Three sentences I liked:
"In fact, Andy, Patrick and Pete all share this dedication and don't drink or do illegal drugs Joe is the only one who doesn't adhere to this strict policy." - I found this so funny for some reason.
"The most disturbing Fall Out boy video is probaby Saturday. . . Featuring Pete as a crazed killer and Patrick as a psuedo-detective. The storyline includes a murder/suicide. . . Always cheerful." - HAHAHA.
"Drummer Andy, for one, misses those old days. 'Things were way more fun, " he told MTV, "because it was more dangerous. You didn't know if you had a place to sleep. Now the only decision we have to make is which pool of money to sleep in." Not a terrible problem to have." No comment.
