Time for my bimonthly update
Looks like I have another job prospect. Interview tomorrow morning.
Oppenheimer and Co., thanks to a friend of Daven's. New York City. [fuck] Desktop support, which is my foot in the door type job. THe main office is on Broad Street. Which is like the way southern fuckin tip of Manhattan. Which means the big ol word i've been working so hard to avoid.
Subway.
According to what I've poked about online, its just taking one single 4 train from Grand central. which in theory is not all that bad. just tack a half an hour onto the commute time (interview at 10:30). Which in theory I should be able to handle. Just FYI: the job itself is in midtown, so no subway involved in that aspect.
No details are specifically known about the job itself. Its just an entry level IT job in the city. I am not happy about the fact that its in the city. But i told myself from the beginning that I wouldn't ignore a job lead solely based on its location. So that's what i'm making myself do.
At least I have new Rob Zmobie to keep myself company.
