Went to Rochester. Jammed with all the right people. Did all of the grandfather-related stuff.

While I was up there I got a note from Capital One. Yes, the "what's in your wallet?" people. Started the process there. But its going to take a while to get through, I think. And I haven't heard from IBM in a bit. All this is combined with the ( Read more... )

My understanding is that this issue occured around four years ago and had to do with insider trading by a few of the corporations top executives. While there certainly could be something else that I'm unaware of that's the primary issue that I recall. As I understand it there were fines involved yada yada and it's not something that would be a concern for someone entering the company in IT.

I think you'll find consumer bitching about Capital One. However, with a credit card company of that size, that is to be expected.
