And the new quarter begins
In an hour I'll be heading off to dinner before my PERL class, my second class of the quarter, and already this quarter's had some action in it.
Kat's new roommate brought a rather kickass TV with her. That means there's an extra one in their living room. I'm the only one without a TV. That means I could have one in my room. With cable. Right across from my bed. That also means I may have to buy a PS2. one of the nifty slim ones. Don't know what games I'd get for it, but I could say I have one... I could get the new DMC game, but I can't think of anything else as of right now.
My job is already starting to warm up. I got the outline for the first HW assignment, along with a grading template and sample solution. The assignment will be given today, and due at 11:59 PM next sunday. Prof wants them all graded by the time the class meets on Wednesday night. meep... but I'll be earning money at least. I just have to make sure I don't get too far ahead of myself in terms of buying things...
the PS2 would be 150, DMC would be 45-50, that's 200 right there. I can't imagine this job would pay all that much, we'll say 7 an hour, 10 hours a week... those two things are already 3 weeks worth of pay. d'oh! we'll see how the cable thing works before I rush into the PS2 thing.
484 is a studio class, which I didn't know. So I can't be online during that class. PERL I know is studio, so I won't be on there either. Which means the only class I can be online for is Sys Admin 2. ah well...
