Solicits for 1/28/09

I keep reminding myself that I like Storm actually interacting with the other X-men, and that the first issue of XM:WA was pretty good. so hopefully this will have some closure. . . though it should have come out 6 months ago, ahh well.

Ugh...considering I'll skip most of anything to do with Wolverine and Storm...I guess I'm only getting X-Force.

I'm kinda getting tired of Legacy's whole "Prof. Xavier was secretly a dick" plotlines. Not that he hasn't done some underhanded things, but enough is enough.

I don't mind the dickishness so much as its failure to go anywhere. I'm waiting for Charles to have a meaningful realization and do something about it but the way comics work that's a lot harder to write than "reflecting on the dickish things you've done."

As someone who has great difficulty keeping all the Wolverine books straight in my head, the collected editions are a very convenient way of not having to bother.

After last week's glut of goodness, this week seems to be mostly trade fodder.

Passing on all of those, with the exception of Young X-men, and that only because I'm a completist and, at this stage in the game, I can't be bothered to give it up when there's only a couple more issues to run.
