Thoughts for New Year's
Here are some thoughts and things I learned throughout 2004:
♣ When you ask someone to change, you're molding them into someone you want them to be. Either accept them as they are, or don't accept them at all.
♣ When you love someone so much, sometimes it's best to just let them go.
♣ Some relationships don't make sense when you look back on them. When you're with the person, everything and the way you feel makes sense to you, and then you look back and go "What the hell was I thinking?!"
♣ If a guy treats you bad, you should leave, because
♣ Guys don't change, unless they get some serious therapy. They can change for a little bit, but it'll go back to the way it was. Or if it has to do with cheating, he probably will just try to be more careful about it. It's all clear to me now. If a guy wants to change, wouldn't he have changed already (If you were with him)? And look at the first thing I wrote. It kind of leads to there.
♣ Get rid of letters from old ex-boyfriends when you get into a serious relationship. Or just ditch 'em anyway. What's the sense?
♣ Count on animals to always bring a smile to your face.
♣ Losing a pet can be devestating, especially if it wasn't planned AND on a holiday. The more pets you lose, the more sacred your backyard will become. lol.
♣ Sometimes the only thing you have are a pen and paper and your thoughts.
♣ Carry a camera with you everywhere you go. You'll never know what you'll see..
♣ Vacations are good every once in a while, even if it's just 2 hours away from your home.
♣ It's okay to treat yourself sometimes...You probably deserve it.
♣ The holidays aren't about food or presents. It's about sharing the day with the people you love most.
♣ Get a Bipolar in your life, and your relationship will be anything but boring.
♣ When you feel really sad, turn to a comedy DVD to cheer you up.
♣ Anna Nicole Smith is on drugs.
♣ Have a goal in life.
♣ Surround yourself with bright colors and you'll be in a happier mood (it's proven!)
So yeah, those are my thoughts...
