It's been such a long time!
I want to keep my journal going! Never give up! :)

I wrote an entry while I was at work, but I left it in the car, so I will have to recap as best as I can...

Today wasn't as nice as yesterday in terms of weather. It was still very hot, but it looked gloomy outside. I thought for sure it would rain, but it never did. I was late to work! For some reason, even though the construction is not even on the road, the traffic is soo slow in the morning! It took me nearly 20 minutes just to get down the street! I was hoping I wasn't subbing today because I'd really have to be in early, but lo-and-behold, I was and I had to hurry up and get to the classroom.

I really didn't have to do much today! There was some time for the students to finish their endangered species papers, practice spelling vocabulary and some reading. After that, they had a health talk about the changes they'd be seeing in their bodies. That lasted about an hour or so until their lunch time. I took my lunch and then when I collected them again, they had to take an end of the year math test. That took a while too. For some reason, I wasn't really into reading my geisha book. It just made me feel tired, so I just chilled and kind of wrote my little diary entry that I'm not even using. Haha. After that we had a joint Science class with the teacher next door. It was terrible. 50 kids in a steamy classroom and I was so tired that if I blinked I probably would have fell asleep! At the end of the day I had bus duty and then I went home.

I tried to put my laundry away, but I laid down and fell asleep! After that I went upstairs to check on the chicken I put out and Justin's mom pulled me into Sangria time. I actually really didn't want to have one, but I don't think she wanted to have it alone. We did yoga after, which was a terrible idea after a sangria. After that I finally cooked dinner. It was Japanese curry with rice, cubanelle peppers, onion, carrots and chicken. I prefer having the beef strips, but the chicken was very tender, so I was happy I accomplished that. I have it ready for lunch tomorrow.

In Second Life I have been feeling weird about my character. I got tired of being a geikosan and I wanted to explore being gothic, but I don't have much clothes for it. I started collecting oiran avatars and I wear them around my dearest patron Hajiro sama. He really likes her because she is pretty and has a beautiful Japanese horimono tattoo. (And he has been teaching me shibari, but that's a dirty secret)!

I think instead of using my lindens on random goth things, I will just use it for kimono. . .

yoga, sangria, second life, work, curry
