sorry
im sorry! its been an incredibly long time since i posted anything that was long and drawn out that actually told you about the real me, rather than those silly internet things for blogs or whatever. today is probably not the best day to write a long entry, since it was a pretty bad day. so i shall spend a meager sentence that just barely bascially sums up the crappy part of my day, and then i will try to focus more on the good.
i found out that my math grade had dropped 4 points, so now im not even close to an A for my overall GPA, plus a got my first detention ever for saying 'oh i cant kill him' when i tried to swat a fly during 'be silent' time.
ok so the good things;
i found out that i was picked as one of two trumpet players that got picked to attend the janfest at the university of georgia! and yesyes i know who all of the other people are that got in, but im not telling. youre finding out tomorrow morning, so why should i spoil it for you? haha all i can say is that i am VERY pleased that i got in and that im VERY pleased with all of the other people that made it. ahem which basically means that no one that i utterly despise is going. haha. oh and we read festive overture by shostakovich today, which made me very happy. i didnt know that the trumpet part was hard/boring, but i like the song anyway. its fun to listen to whats going on around you. stupid upbeats in cut time haha.
wow this is really like twilight zone haha. i was just curious as to how long Mandie and i have been together. i knew it was like 2 months and about two weeks or so. but i wanted to know how many days (i know im weird). and exactly from today, we have been together for 75 days! haha isnt that like freakily coincedental?! i have enjoyed every single one of those 75 days. well except for the ones that she was in north carolina. but when she was there, she was writing me the list of 101 things that she liked about me. which i enjoyed. so technically i enjoyed the days that she was gone. so i have enjoyed all of the 75 days. yay! i feel so comfortable around her. we do all sorts of things together. this weekend, we're making cookies for the church party! yay! and we play video games, watch movies, go out to dinner (my favorite!), and we talk a lot. boy do we talk a lot haha. but i never get bored, and we never run out of things to say (which i might add is quite different than usual for me). so basically we have lots of fun and learn new things about each other no matter what we do. might i say that she is very good a diddy kong racing. i thought i was good at racing games haha. and that thing justin said so long ago at the movies has stuck in my mind forever! it just makes to much sense! he said to Mandie (about me and her), 'yall just click' (or something of that nature). i think its true too! Mandie is definitly one of the greatest people i know.
and i would like to extend my deepest thanks to Mandie for trying so hard to cheer me up!
