today
has been kind of a long day and not all at the same time. After dicking round this morning doing some pre-packing for going back to Holland after my lovely stay in the UK I walked to get the bus to town in order to get a train to go to Leeds. No more use of the car as of midnight last night due to the 7 days insurance being finished. By the way, i walked a lot today, whcih i normally wouldn't care about only, both feet are dead due to my silliness on sunday and jumping off big big rocks onto ground that was a lot harder than i thought, therefore my feet are fucking hurting lots. So yeah, i finally get into Leeds and just have a wander before changing the remainder of my english coin back into euros. I then make it up to the Packhorse for some chips and to see a show my friend jim's new band is playing in. Let me let you into a new secret kids. The best band in the UK is
The Versus Project
Holy shit, they were fucking ace and I'm not just saying that because the people in the band are my friends. They rocked, people moshed, i'm sure pics will be up on sheep's journal later. It was a fucking good time. Hard and heavy metalcore, kinda like Unearth meets Caliban and Undying or something. It was awesome. They're gonna be huge without a doubt. May, if you read this, get them on Ninja Fest if anyone pulls out. They're awesome, you can trust me.
So yeah, mind blowing shit without a doubt. After that I said my goodbyes to everyone and made my way back to the train station. Made some really good new friends on this visit with James, katy (Katie?), Sally, Ben and Amy and had a rad time with old ones such as Daveo, Jim, Sheep, Jimmy, Staples, Will, Ben and Paula. I'm gonna miss Leeds thats for sure, but having thought about it all and having a brief chat with my dad i know i'm doing the right thing being away from everyone I love so much, even though I think its just gonna get harder in the next 12 months due to other things, but life is short and I should do the things that make me happiest. Knowing I've got some of the best friends a boy can ask for just make things a little easier and harder at the same time. If Stefan read this he'd kill me. He hates the way I say two things at once that mean the opposite thing such as the easier and harder part hahaha. Ah well, one more day at home and then its off into the night sky.
