I like this story quite a bit, especially how you play around with the tropes. Britta as Han and Troy as Leia made me laugh quite hard.

Also, Tennant was the best Doctor by a mile.

Tropes are fun. I just try not to make them too much of a cliche'. Certain aspects of the story HAD to mirror the episode to a degree, so I hope it hasn't been too forced. But when I saw the amount of supplies Pelton had in the storage closet, the suicide bomb just screamed a Shield Generator Bunker scene, with a reverse Leia/Han. That, and I can envision Troy and Britta covered in green like Annie and Abed.

Well, I also had to have SOMEONE say "You rebel scum."

And could you imagine Tennant in "A Good Man Goes to War?" I loved the righteous anger of the Tenth Doctor, and to see call in some debts and go to war would have rocked SO hard.

Just thought I'd drop a line here. This is a pretty fun alternate take and I laughed outloud at the Jeff/Duncan = Han/Greedo scene. Damn right he shot first! This... this was the type of thing that the season finale was missing in it's Star War's parody. They just didn't do enough to really play with it.

Glad to see you rectified that. Thanks for sharing.

I really liked writing that scene. And let's face it, after Christmas, Duncan deserved it. And he's just enough of a jack ass that he'd turn in Jeff with no compunctions. And to bludgeon the reader that Jeff IS Han.

I appreciate the read though. Glad you're enjoying it.
