The holidays were great. Got alot and gave alot of nice things. This year I had money to spend so I went all out. Got various things for my computer, family guy seasons, halflife 2 for xbox, etc. I had a good time. Work was crazy the day before and the week after. Every one spending thier giftcards and xmas money. Then new years eve I went to charlotte and then after the ball dropped me and Erica left for texas to see her grandma and grandpa. We drove for the whole day about 18 hours or so. It was a long fucking time in the car. Traded off driving and sleeping. Texas took forever to get through. Atlanta was fucking nuts. We drove alittle over the speed limit and people were flying by even a couple cops. SC was well SC, boring. Alabama wasn't too bad. Mississippi sucked. The people weren't too friendly. Louisana had lots of gambling and swampy areas but that was about it. Once we got to texas though it was all great. We saw this horrible biker accident I prob won't forget. We drove by and I looked over and there were a biker in pieces on the side of the road with cops, medics etc standing over. It was pretty horrible. But other than that it was a much needed break of rest and relaxing even though we were out about everyday. The whole week was nice weather. I wore short sleeves pretty much everyday and wore shorts and flipflops on another day. Texas was a nice state and there is alot to do. Quite possibly moving there after xmas with erica. I got to see alot of cool things like the Alamo and texas museum. Didn't get too many pics though unfortantly. I got to see deer and foxes come up in a backyard which was very cool, shit like that doesn't happen in Hickory, atleast not around my area. Helped erica's gma get a computer and set it up for her and stuff. She was very happy and I enjoyed doing it for her. Ran into a few problems but got everything sorted out. I think we were in bestbuy for like 2 or 3 hours. Then we dropped off the computer and got some cici's mmm. Then went home and watched Texas state whoop up on SCU. Everyone in tx is so proud of them I think longhorn stuff was everywhere but so was the tx flag. They are a very proud state. Even bought into it and got a longhorn hat and erica got some stickers and a shirt. I think we ate out about everyday we were there atleast twice a day. We had some great food. Esp some mexican food from this place called Adobe it was soo good. Erica and her gma got drunk and I don't really want to go into that. Her grandparent's are two of the sweetest people and I had such a good time and enjoyed being there. They were very fun and didn't act thier age. Very friendly and happy people. I think they payed for about everything. We had to jump infront of them to pay for stuff. We had money so they didn't have to but they were very generous. They didn't ask to pay for it they just did. But we left saturday and drove back and stoped and got a hotel in Jackson MS because we didn't want to drive straight through again. Then we got up early and finished driving back and got in last night sometime. Now I don't want to go back to work. But that was about it had a great time spend alot of money but it was worth it and I look forward to what this year brings.
