The end of the world as we know it? I'm not fine...
Yeah these gas prices suck ass. Thank you Mr. President and of course mother nature. Then again if we as human didn't have to rely on vechiles in the first place than we wouldn't be in this mess. I got off early from work today and called Erica and what was the first thing I heard go buy gas now they are closing the pumps at 7! I was like um okay so I was driving home noticing all the gas stations were busy I go to pull into one thats not so busy and they are all out of the "cheap" gas so off I went to find another one. Still no resolve so I finally decide on one. Fucking $2.99 it was like 2.47 this morning! What the hell? Cars every where. Signs saying you have to pay inside etc. Pure chaos. I feel sorry for all the states caught in the destruction. If I could walk anywhere I would. If I could ride my bike I would but things aren't that close. I'm 25 mins away from work. Thankfully I have a little toyota that isn't so bad on gas. Whats funny is we are going to have stories for our grandkids about the great gas crisis of 05. "Back in my day I paid $1.00 for gas but in 05 I paid $3.00 and upward." We have some reserves open but they aren't doing much good cause some of the pipes are messed up, etc. If you ask me we should make one of the oil producing countries part of the US lol.Yeah alot of this is pointless bitching and complaining but what else to expect. I have a headache from hell from lack of sleep I think.
In other news. Between the buried and me and He is legend is playing the 10th (?) for their cd release show. Um ETID is the 14th. Thrice is coming sometime and a bunch of other big shows. Still waiting on Coheed to come. If not I'm going to go see them in GA with some coworkers. That would be fun considering that show is on Halloween night. Other than that. Work, work, work. I need another job to pay for gas and you know food, clothes, and every other goods are going to go up. Oh yeah when I came home "end of the world" by REM was playing, how ironic.
