An intern starts at work. Shes funny. Shes smart! Shes beautiful.
5.5 MONTHS AGO:
I find she has a boyfriend. Such is life.
5 MONTHS AGO:
My friend from high school starts to intern.
3 MONTHS AGO:
My friend and said girl become friends, through the interning.
2 MONTHS AGO:
My friend starts telling the girl she should dump her current boyfriend.
1.5 MOTHS AGO:
My friend and I start to hang out a lot. Im helping her with school.
1 MONTH AGO:
My friend and I hang weekly. Ive keep my crush secret.
1 WEEK AGO:
My friend texts me on a saturday. she says come downtown. i lie and say ok, ill call if i do. i go to bed.
5 DAYS AGO:
My friend says "I wish you came out, I was with THE GIRL!" and i say, you should have told me. She says :I convinced her to finally dump her boyfriend and she just wanted to hook up, so I called you because I knew you were single and awesome. But you never came out so she hooked up with her neighbor." I am sad.
TODAY:
The GIRL says to me "You should have come out this weekend..." I said I would have had I known she was there. She gives me shit all day for not showing up. I keep telling her if I knew she was there I would have been there.
7 HOURS AGO:
A random call from the friend. She says "THE GIRL just called and we got talking and she says she really wished you were there this weekend, so she could have hooked up with you. She said she wished you were there so she could have hooked up with someone shes attracted to as oppose to just her neighbor."
And here we stand. Im baffled and I suck.
