im so busy WHATS NEW i hate my life. but i think being busy is actually making me have a good life.
I saw my favorite dead composer (Mahler) and one of my favorite live composers (Sigur Ros) live within 5 days.....last friday and last nite. both were awesome, but sigur ros was exceptional. that theater is really cool too. and i got a ticket the day of the concert and it was front row center first balcony. i like good surprises that make life less sad.
this weekend i am dedicating to work. i am skipping parties, ski trips, and anything fun to get done so much work that i am horrified. i have to hand in my co-op final report to my grantgiver-guy. i have to finish writing my songs for piano and voice which are being performed march 28th at the presidential breakfast, and i am playing piano so i have to get it done so i can start practicing. i have to arrange an assload more of klein for the wind ensemble for comp. lessons and conduct it tuesday night at practice. i have to arrange vagina song for bassix to sing at the vagina monologues. i hope that works out. i need to study sibelius's 4th symphony for conducting class and hand in my final concert report before the concert, which is monday at NEC for freeeeee who wants to go? i need to read a lot for music history and work in the mac lab on some projects for digitools class. i need to prepare how to start a restaurant/piano bar company named Sweet Ivory for business, law and multimedia. i need to check what gear i definitely have for denali, and ask to borrow the gear that i dont have, or go buy some. i need to do that soooon.
i also need a new computer bc this one is fucked up the ass with popups. ihkk
i am getting up super early tomorrow morning to go to brigham hospital to start a diabetes study (they need someone who doesnt have it...me). it is 4 visits (2 overnights) and i get 500 BUCKS yeahhh. that will help immensely with the 4 roundtrip plane tickets i need to buy for march, may, june and august.
mom bought my plane ticket today for world cup with frequent flyer miles!!! pumped i am.
anyway, off to move all my band equipment into 33 Pratt, our new prac space. makes me happy.
